I possess extensive childcare experience, having started my career back in 2006 as a Nursery Practitioner. I have since worked across various commercial nursery groups, fulfilling senior positions.
KC Daycare was founded in 2015 upon the ambition to offer high quality care to a small number of children, offering parents an alternative to the usual volume based childcare on offer.
At KC, children flourish within a loving home based setting, enjoying quality home cooked meals as they develop the skills needed to commence their journey into primary education.
For you, the parents, KC offers a degree of flexibility around working hours and all inclusive fees. That means no extra costs for meals, snacks, outting or consumablees, such as nappies, milk etc.

With only recently moving to Northampton finding childcare was really daunting and then I spoke to Kay. She made the whole experience a lot easier and understood and put myself at ease. After the first meeting I knew my son would be happy there. Kay was understanding through my sons dairy allergies and made him meals that all the other children had so he didn't feel left out and even sent him home with dairy free homemade puddings!!
KC Daycare was a home from home for my son, nothing was ever too much for them.
Both Kay and Andrea listened and understood any concerns regarding my son and was always there for a chat.
Outstanding childcare from the both of them and I was so happy my son was so excited to see them all every week.
Nothing was ever too much for them!! Would highly recommend, they are simply AMAZING!!!!!

We decided to take our son out of nursery because he just didn’t seem to enjoy it.
I contacted Kay after she came highly recommended and from the start she was just brilliant. At first Kay just offered to sit down with us to explain and discuss the differences between nursery and a childminder and what each offered. Kay provided me with lots of information on both options and we then decided to meet with her.
We met Kay and she instantly made us feel at ease and our son, who was generally shy, seemed relaxed around her and in her home.
We decided to go with Kay and it was the best decision we could have made for him. Kay is very caring and treated our son like he was part of her own family. Kay has worked wonders with our son, especially with his eating. Before going to Kay’s our son wouldn’t eat anything new but she has spent time working on his eating and he is now eating sandwiches and is open to trying new foods which is a big deal!!
Kay is also very professional and made sure we received regular feedback on our sons development whilst in her care.
My son absolutely adores Kay and her family (as do we). He has started pre-school now but he misses her so much and still talks about her everyday.

Kay
My little one absolutely adored his time with Kay. Kay is a lovely friendly lady and really takes on each child like her own. When going, there wasn’t a day where he wasn’t going home with something he made or talks of exciting things he done that day.
Before he started, my little one was quite shy and wasn’t very interested in talking. Fast forward a year and he is so outgoing and a little chatter box! Credit and thanks to Kay and Andrea and the other children for bringing him out of his shell making his time there so enjoyable!

Choosing someone to look after your little one is so difficult and you have to take a huge leap of faith! When we first met with Kay there was an instant click, she is so bubbly and kind, me and my daughter instantly felt at ease. My daughter has an amazing bond with Kay, she gets so excited to go and play with Kay and the other children. I am rest assured that she is in safe hands with Kay as both a professional childminder and a mother, and I know that Kay has her best interests at heart.
Life has its ups and downs for everyone, but in the last 12 months a lot has changed for us personally as a family which has made things very difficult. Kay has been extremely flexible and has gone above and beyond to help support us in anyway she can, and for our daughters routine to not be hindered. We will always be thankful for this!
I am so so glad we found Kay, and I know that our daughter has the best person looking after her. I cannot recommend Kay more highly.

Kay provided us with an amazing service for our wedding. We met with Kay prior to the date arranged so that she could meet our little girl. She was absolutely amazing with her and our little girl liked Kay straight away. That confirmed to us that Kay was the correct person and made us feel so comfortable and at ease. The whole night of our wedding went so great and that was all because we didnt have to worry about our daughter we knew that she was in good hands. Couldnt thank Kay enough ad would definitely recommend her and use her again.

I met Kay when she was working at my daughter's nursery. She is amazing with children, very loving and caring, and they simply love her. She is also very professional, reliable and experienced. I highly recommend her, she's great.

Kay was a Nanny for my 2 children.
I cannot praise her highly enough. My children were extremely happy in her care and enjoyed a stimulating and educational range of activities through out her time with us.
She was punctual, reliable and very trustworthy

He has really loved coming to your house and settled in really quickly.
I would have no hesitation in sending my children back to Kay as i know they would be very happy with her.
