About Me
Hello, my name is Jade and I'm 33 years old. I have an active personality and enjoy getting up and getting outdoors, I'm very upbeat and enjoy using my own experienced initiative all the while making sure we are working happily as a team. I love being creative in all ways possible and encouraging imagination within my job and personal life. I regularly go to the gym which is lucky as I also regularly eat biscuits. having my own children, daughter Ophelia (3) and son Albie (1) means my spare time is now completely filled with den building, playdough, reading and lots and lots of very messy baking and baby chasing.
I hold a full clean UK driving license and have done for 16 years and I do have my own car which may I add is the family wagon of all family wagons, a Citroen Picasso (as stated I am now in my 30s) with 3 full isofix seats and I provide my own maxi Cosi car seats to save the ever-tedious swaps. I live in Hoddesdon having moved here with my husband and we love it!
My daughter attends Rye Park nursery, so I will be available to drop and collect to Rye Park also.
I am able to offer care from 7:30-5:30 Monday to Friday please do let me know if you need longer hours and I will try and accommodate. childcare and work can be a tricky balance and I really would like to help however I can.
I charge a £60 day rate that is inclusive of all meals, snacks and drinks excluding formula. Please message me to discuss wrap around care.
My Experience
I have been a nanny for 12 years now and 2 years nursery work previous to this, with children newborn to 11 years.
I have weaned babies potty trained toddlers and set children up ready for their first years at school.
I have made a full healthy and varied diet suitable for all ages of children I have cared for during my career, I cook nearly all meals from scratch and a lot of snacks are also homemade.
I pride myself on being a home from home child carer and treat your children how I treat my own.
I enjoy a Montessori style of play and always have fun filled days planned out, I create activities with sensory/messy play, music and crafts all that cover the EYFS, so I am able to help nurture and follow your child's development. I get out every day to playgroups, libraries, farms and parks the list in east Herts is endless.
I enjoy letting children be a-part of cooking and helping around the house, teaching independence and helping them to safely explore their environments whilst building their confidence and capabilities

Jade is brilliant.
Jade looked after my 1yr old son and if we hadn't have been moving he would still be with her and my new baby would be going to her too.
Jade is an excellent childminder. She loves her job and it shows. The children are in a happy and positive home and they thrive in her care. When I first spoke to Jade I'd such a good feeling about her. I was right. Her house is fully set up for a child's development. I would get daily updates, texts and photos about their day.
I particularly loved the idea that Jade had always planned in an activity to get the little ones outside. A walk, play at the park, playgroups or even out in the garden. They weren't restricted to a 1 single room all day.
Jade took so much time to prepare and cook all their meals from scratch, which was always something different everyday. I often wanted to stay for something to eat.
Jade is naturally upbeat and genuinely down to earth. I had no worries when my son was in her care. In fact she made it all very easy for me and my son. It was a home away from home for him.
I really didn't want to leave her and did try to convince her to move too.
If you are searching for a childminder then look no further, I felt so lucky having found her, you will too.

Jade is a first class childminder. The care, kindness and commitment she showed our little girl was second to none. The settle sessions were well thought out and enabled our little girl to build a relationship with her quickly. Jade listens to your routines and tries to replicate these in her setting. Our little girl enjoyed plenty of fresh air, community interaction and home play time which was important to us. Jade also provides excellent home cooked meals, which is a real plus! The only reason we stopped using Jade was because we moved location. I would recommend Jade without any hesitation.

Jade was an absolutely brilliant nanny to our one year old daughter. Having not being used to being away from me or her dad before I went back to work, Jade immediately made our child feel comfortable, happy and entertained - with her settling into naps and mealtimes with Jade from day one.
Jade paid extra care to our daughter’s interests, bringing different and toys and activities she would enjoy each day. She also made sure she got out to play groups and the park, to further socialise our daughter and to ensure she had varied days.
On top of this, Jade made fresh meals for our daughter day, and also somehow managed to find time to do clothes washes and change the beds.
We miss her already!
