About Me
My name is Keeley. I am happily married with three beautiful teenage children who are all very independent. We live in the beautiful rural location of Grenoside in Sheffield with our three cats and our 5 chickens. We have a fantastic home with a purpose built playroom which has access to a large outdoor play area via bifolding doors. I am a qualified baby nurse with a level 3 in Early Years Education. I have worked as a Childminder and a private Nanny for over 10 years. I am caring, reliable, flexible, fun and creative. I love baking, gardening, being outdoors in all weathers and I adore animals.
My Experience
I qualified as a Nurse in 2000 and worked for nine years in Neonatal care. When my own children were born I retrained as a Childminder so that I could care for my own beautiful children and still earn a living wage. I loved working with children more than I had ever expected too. Every day is an adventure full of fun and learning opportunities. I have always had a lot of energy and a creative imagination which lends itself perfectly to working with children. Days are spent playing, crafting, baking, reading, singing, looking for fairies in the garden and bears in the woods! I have a firm but fair approach when working and believe children learn appropriate behaviour through mutual respect and discussion and positive reinforcement of good behaviour. I am a kind and caring person who loves to see children happy playing while they thrive and flourish. For the last six years I have worked as a private Nanny for a wonderful family who can provide excellent references if required. We moved to our new home in Sept 2019 and I have just had my new premises registered with OFSTED for Childminding and I now have places available.
