About Me
Childminding Space Available from September. Currently (Tu, Thur and Fri available). Collection for after school available from Fairfield School (Ruskin Site).
Highly-qualified and experienced child carer with a spacious, 4-bed home and garden.
I have 15 years of home-based childcare experience; specialising in early years; a passion for children and a commitment to exemplary care. My spacious home and garden, near parks and nature, offer additional play areas and resources for learning, fun and exploration. Following the EYFS, we enjoy outdoor time, messy play, crafts, regular outings and formulated play to foster development in all areas. I focus on the 0-3 age range so have low ratios.
I am a mother of one 3 year old who attends nursery 3 long days a week (full-time September 2025). Being a mother myself I know what an important role a trusted, qualified and valued caregiver can bring to a family’s life. I hope to offer you that comfort and reassurance that your child is in the best hands.
My Experience
I have been a professional and qualified full-time nanny and consultant for 14 years before moving into childminding. I have cared and raised children ranging from newborn to 13 years. I have cared for multiples and large cohorts (all under 5). I also have twin experience.
My Qualifications
I have a first-class honours degree in child development and child psychology.
I am trained and qualified in infant care, safe sleep (sleep shaping and training), weaning, potty training and behavioural management.
I also have a level 3 diploma in home-based childcare.
I am committed to continuous professional development; I regularly undertake training and stay up to date with safest and best practice.
My Availability
From September 3 day Availability: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday for a child between 9 months - 2 years 23 months.
After-school availability from Fairfield Lower School Tuesday-Friday .
Day bookings are a minimum of 8 hours between 8AM-6PM

My Fees
- Childminding from £8.00 per hour
Childminding rates start at £8 per hour.
Usual rate is £10 per hour with 10-20% discounts for 30-40 hour bookings.
Fully Funded Places Available. Just £1.50 per hour subside on funded hours. Clear and non-complex fee structure.
Minimum 8 hour daily booking applies.

Ashley has been nannying for our family for one month now, looking after our 4 year old and our nearly two year old. My husband and I are very impressed with her enthusiasm and ability to date. She has created an excellent bond with the children, and instigates a range of activities, games and learning opportunities.
