About Me
I am a passionate educator who combines pedagogical theory and practice to bring a dynamic approach to teaching. My aim is to create a positive environment to promote a nurturing and supportive space for both pupils and staff to achieve success.
I am a fully qualified Primary School teacher with experience from Reception level to Year 6.
I am currently working as a full time Primary School teacher in Year 6. I have 11 years teaching experience with additional roles including Science and Reading Lead. I am currently completing a course (St Mary's University) to become a qualified SEN Coordinator.
As well as experience in education, I have had extensive experience interacting with children and youth on a personal and professional level. I work with a range of pupils from EYFS to KS2, including pupils with a range of learning styles (ADHD, Autism Spectrum, Neurodiverse learning, etc.)
I create a comfortable and relaxed environment that allows children to focus on the task at hand with my assistance and guided support.
My Experience
Since moving to the UK in 2014, I have worked in a primary school setting and have taught across the whole school!
I am a qualified teacher with ten years’ experience in a Primary School setting. I have taught in a range of years groups including KS2 (Years 3 and 6), KS1 (Year 1) and EYFS (Reception). Having taught in such a range of year groups, I have insight to the progression of children’s learning and an understanding of data analysis across the school.
I am currently a Year 6 teacher and provide booster sessions (additional learning interventions) within my role as classroom teacher.
I hold roles of Reading Lead and Science Lead. In both roles, I monitor data to ensure consistent standards across the school, provide opportunties for pupils, and develop both the teaching and learning of Reading and Science.
