About Me
I have three children, my son is 24 and works full time, my middle daughter is 21 and at university and my youngest is in year 8 at TWGGS. I am able to do pick ups and drop offs at Pembury School and Pembury School House Nursery.
I have three pets, two outdoor cats and a sausage dog and when the weather is nice will take the children out on country and woodland walks with them.
At home we spend time doing arts and crafts, cooking and baking, garden play, general play and stories. We go out regularly to local places including parks, library, toddler groups and play centres and all this provides the children with opportunities to socialise with other children in the area, many of who they may go to nursery and school with.
My Experience
I have been childminding for 22 years now and have cared for children from as young as 3 months. I am Ofsted registered and have PACEY public liability insurance and membership. I have also obtained the formal qualification of a Diploma in Home Based Childcare and also have recently refreshed my peadatric first aid and safeguarding certificates. I have also worked with children with special needs in a care home providing respite and support to both children and parents/carers who have mental and physical disabilities.
