I am a Ofsted registered and CRB checked childminder. I gained an 'Good' grade from my last inspection with ofsted in 2019
I have been a childminder since 2006.
I have two daughters. I live with my husband and we have been married for 25 years. We have a Spaniel.
I can collect from Cheddington School and Cheddington pre school.
My Experience
I have been a childminder since 2006.
I provide a warm, safe, friendly, home environment with a family atmosphere in which children feel valued, can play, learn and develop. Children will receive a lot of individual attention whilst enjoying interaction with others. I appreciate that parents are the most important people in a Child's life and therefore consult with parents on all aspects of their Child's care.
I have a play room(FULL OF TOYS GAMES ETC :), kitchen Dining open plan, enclosed garden with lots of toys, Sitting room, and downstairs WC, I also have my own car with full road tax, up to date service, insurance and RAC cover.
We are out most mornings attending tots, farms, library, parks, walks, singing groups, Ashridge, NT places, friends, places of interest and many many more.........
In the afternoon we do story time, games, puzzles, toys outdoor play, role play, writing, colouring, painting, sticking, free play and many many more....
Any of my parents are willing to give a reference should you require one or talk to you on the telephone.

My eldest son was with Rhea for just over two years and my youngest will be going to her when I return to work. I cannot praise Rhea highly enough; my eldest was born prematurely at 26 weeks and consequently had extra requirements for his care. Rhea embraced these requests with no hesitation.
Rhea takes the children out so they gain a huge range of age appropriate experiences to nurture them. She is kind and loving with great behaviour management; it is a real home from home environment. The liaison between her and us has been excellent.
I am delighted that my youngest will also experience Rhea's outstanding childcare.

Not only does Rhea provide a lovely homely environment for the children in her care but she also makes the parents feel very welcome. The children take part in lots of creative activities and Rhea takes them out and about as much as possible which is great. In the summer her garden is a hive of activity as well! The children love being at Rheas. She is reliable and won't let you down.

I have been using Rhea Scott as a childminder for my two children for 3 years now and I have always found her to be caring and professional . She has an excellent manner with the children and provides them with a home from home environment. She liaises with parents extremely well and understands their needs. I feel happy and confident leaving my children with her and would heartily recommend her to anyone who asked .

Rhea is always prepared to put herself out when the unexpected or emergency crops up.
Rhea always has lots of fun activities planned and the children love her.
When the children love going you can't ask for a better recomendation than that.
