About Me
Hi,
I have been graded Outstanding (June 2015 and November 2019) by Ofsted. I have been minding for 23years, I have two of my own children aged 24 and 33(no longer at home) and two grandchildren. I enjoy taking the children to feed the ducks, Staunton farm, Butser Farm, parks/beach/woods (with an emphasis on outdoor education and learning through play) historic dockyard, participating in crafts, toddler groups inc singing groups. I follow EYFS guidelines and will fully prepare your child for starting School. I have an 8 seater car so I am able to go on lots of fun outings.
I have all the up to date qualifications including a diploma in home based childcare (grade A) which has allowed me to accept 2/3 and 4 year old funding. I have undertaken a safeguarding course, paediatric first aid and a level 2 in food catering and a food hygiene rating of 5 (see below for other courses).
I offer a home from home environment with lots of care, fun and safe quality time. Excellent references can be obtained from the current/previous parents directly. I am also registered for overnight care. I can offer school holiday cover too and I am also able to pick up and drop off at St James School.
My hours are from 7.50-5.00pm Tuesday-Thursday.

Sue has looked after my baby daugher coming up for eight months now, she was only four months old when Sue first started having her. I had to return to work when Seren was only four months old and this was so hard leaving her at such a young age but Sue made this process alot easier. Sue gives the children the individual attention they need, especially the younger ones and my daughter is very happy there, everytime I collect her she has a big smile on her face.
Her house is very calm and well equiped for children full of toys including baby sensory toys. She takes them out regularly to baby groups which my daughter loves and also takes them for lovely days out to Staunton Country Park, the park, Emsworth Lake to feed the ducks and many other places.
Whlst my daughter is young she loves mixing with the other children there who are all well behaved and enjoyes her days out.
Strongly recommend Sue as you know your children will be well looked after and have the comfort of being in a home environment around loving people.
