Hello. My name is Nicola and I am the person behind Gentle Steps with Nicola
I am a term time only childminder.
I'm 37 and live in Haldens area with my two beautiful children. Maddison 10 and Ronnie 6.
I am a non-smoker and have no pets
I have been looking after children since qualifying from college in 2005.
I am based in Haldens and currently attached to Waterside Academy (previously called Rowans)
I have availability for all ages full and part time.
I am someone that loves being busy and enjoys different activities. Whether that will be parks, woodland areas, soft play or lots of different fun exciting activities at my home.
I take pride in what I do and will be there to give love and support to your child as well as help them with their development.
I have lots of different toys and a safe and secure garden that can help your child in their development.
I provide a clean, safe and caring environment where your child will be sure to have lots of fun learning along the way
My Experience
I was a nanny for over 14 years and I chose to become a childminder which fits in better with our family life
I have had a few nanny jobs in my career, one of them being over 8 years.
My Qualifications
• Diploma in Level 3 in Childcare and Education
• Paediatric First Aid
• Level 3 in Preparing to Work in a Home-based Childcare
• Safeguarding
My Availability
TERM TIME ONLY I am available for a September 2024 start and my working hours will be 8am-5.00pm Monday to Friday
