About Me
I'm a mum to three children aged 8, 13 and 15 (and a friendly Labradoor dog!). I work as a researcher and as a family we need a bit of extra help
My Requirements
I'm looking for a fun and caring person with experience of looking after children with additional needs. The work is primarily to support my 13 year old son who has autism and watch my two other children. Weekend, after school and evening work is available, based from our home.
The job would would involve taking my son and other children out and about, as well as activities at home, supporting my son to develop his interests and life skills and work on areas of his life he finds challenging. Some activities would be with one or both of my other children and there may be light household tasks to carry out with the kids e.g. cooking, washing up or tidying up.
The work is 16 hours a month mainly at weekends, after school and evenings. The times working can be flexible e.g. could do 2 x8 hour days per month or two mornings and one evening per month etc.
DBS and experience with special needs essential and car driver desirable. References would be required.
