My Experience

I have been childminding for 24 years hold all the relevant qualifications necesary with ofsted regulations I also have recently achieved my nvq level 3 award in early years and childcare. I am working towards the EYFS with the children in my care.I got an outcome of GOOD in my last ofsted inspection with 7 OUTSTANDING areas of which were to do with the welfare of the children in my care this was awarded in March 2022. I have recently employed an assistant she has had all the relevant checks with ofsted and is qualified in first aid and safeguarding,she has an excellent relationship with the children in my my setting. she is also outgoing and friendly like me we work really well together as a team. My 20 year old daughter helps us out at busy times she is fully dbs checked, first aid qualified and cleared by ofsted to assist us. I have a large garden with lots of outdoor play and regularly offer lots of activities to keep the children stimulated. I also go out occasionally to various mother and toddler groups, surestart centre run groups and am a member of jungle junior childminding group. In the school holidays I offer lots of outings to various places for eg. parks, the seaside, petting farms, Manchester Airport, Museums. I also have a yearly pass for eureka in Halifax so visit there regularly. I offer a fun loving atmosphere for the children in my care and work closely with parents to ensure that their childs needs are of upmost importance. I also offer a collection and drop off facility at no extra cost. I am very flexible in my hours and provide all meals, nappies etc .

Also offer the 30 and 15 hours free funding for all children and all childcare vouchers and tax free childcare

My Availability

My opening hours are from 6.00am - 7.00pm I will consider any school pick up and also offer a pick up and drop off facility from your home at no extra cost. I have vacancies at the moment as two children who have been with me since they were babies are moving house and school . I can offer a young baby all the love and stability possible . I can provide references on request if needed The schools I operate from are MATHER STREET PRIMARY SCHOOL ST MARYS RC SCHOOL IN FAILSWORTH SOUTH FAILSWORTH SCHOOL AND PROPPS HALL in Failsworth any other schools can be considered. I offer very competitive rates for this service and offer a more home environment rather than spending hours at school
