About Me
I am originally from Colombia although I have lived in the U.K. for over 30 years. I speak Spanish fluently and many of the children I cared for now speak excellent Spanish, some are even bilingual which has given them an excellent start in life.
I am passionate about my job, something I do with total dedication, responsibility and love. I treat the children I look after like my own. I offer a safe and loving environment, a home from home.
I live in a lovely two-bedroom flat in Blackheath with a generous garden. There are no pets and it is a smoke-free home. Children love playing outside in the garden and I also have lots of toys and books available. The flat is clean and safe for children of all ages.
I prefer a healthy and organic diet and I cook delicious, healthy food from scratch for the children's meals.
I make sure the children I look after are healthy and active and we take lots of trips to local parks and outside spaces. I also make sure they are developing their play and social skills with lots of games and fun.
I make a special effort for Christmas, Halloween and Easter with lots of decorations, games and fun.
I live close to Blackheath, Lee, Hither Green and Lewisham and I offer pick-ups from Brooklands school in Blackheath.
My Experience
I have been an Ofsted-registered childminder for 15 years and I also have 3 years of experience as a private nanny. I have always had excellent reviews and feedback from the families I work with. I am happy to provide references on request.
I speak Spanish fluently and love teaching Spanish to the children I look after.
I have experience with children with special needs including autism.
