About Me
Hello my name is Diane Sargeant, I am an OFSTED registered childminder with a GOOD grading. I have been child minding since November 2000, so I have good experience of looking after children of different ages. I offer a loving, fun and safe environment which helps a child develop emotionally, physically, socially and intellectually. I live in Boston and come from a smoke/vape free home.
I am married to Martin and have two children and four step Children and nine grandchildren.
I attend a number of different play settings - Childrens Centres, soft play and visit another childminder for plays dates giving children the opportunity to learn and develop new skills, as well as mix with other children and peers to develop their social skills. We also go on nature walks, to the beach, play parks and animal parks.
I have a fully equipped play room with plenty of toys and resources to meet the needs of all ages and abilities. We enjoy arts and crafts including painting, sticking, drawing, puzzles, cooking and games. Role play area, building bricks, garage and cars. I have a secure garden with various outdoor equipment including ride-ons, chalkboards, mud kitchen, sand and water play and much more. This is fenced in for children's safety.
I work within the guidelines of the EYFS for the under five year olds, to get them prepared for school. There are 7 areas of Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

I constantly strive to provide the very best in childcare, I keep my safeguarding updated and by doing courses it keeps my knowledge updated on the EYFS.
