About Me
Hello, my name is Lubomira. I am a registered childminder based between Kensal Green and Harlesden. I have been childminding for the last 21 years. As a mum of 3 children, I understand the importance of learning and developing through play. Children thrive in secure and homely environment. I therefore aim for a trusting and a positive partnership between parents and me, to provide continuous care between children's homes and my setting. My setting is in a family home with large garden that we use on a daily basis and a separate play room. I also employ an Ofsted registered assistant. During the day children are offered healthy snacks, water, milk and homemade meals. I value and respect children from all backgrounds. I offer individual care to every child as I believe that everyone is unique and I celebrate that. I support children into developing love and passion for books and stories. My setting is unique. Every child is able to make choices in their play and is celebrated respected for their diversity. I work closely with parents throughout the settling in period and throughout the whole care to ensure their child is comfortable and content. Most of my children came through recommendations and many families have become life long friends to me and to my children. I have mainly worked for families that work in education as I can offer longer days and I am happy to do contracts for term times only.
My Experience
I have been registered for 20 years as a childminder. I am also a member of childcare and network of Brent childminders. My eldest daughter is 25 years old and my young ones are 11 and 14 years old. Becoming a mum has been the most challenging but amazing experience for me. I have looked after newborn babies up to 8 years old children. I enjoy working with children as I think it is the most rewarding job in the world.

I am available Monday to Thursday 8am to 5.30pm. Please enquire for a vacancy updates. Babysitting is available by my assistant. I am registered with Tax free childcare scheme. I also accept funded children for 2 years old funding and from september 2024, for children from 9 months old. Please enquire within.

Lubomira is a fantastic childminder and our son has been so happy with her! We feel incredibly lucky to have found her as she is so genuinely loving, caring and friendly. She has taken such good care of our little boy from 8 months old, we can tell from just how affectionate he is towards her and the fact that he is always so happy to see her. To be able to drop him off smiling each day has been wonderful!
Lubomira's set up is in her family home and there is a lovely family spirit. She has created a home away from home for the children that she cares for where they do a lot of playing, reading, singing, dancing and of course bubble chasing! It is also a very nurturing setting where we know that our son is napping well, eating well, learning and in an environment that is teaching him respect for other children and adults. All things that were hugely important to us in choosing somewhere for him to go 5 days a week.
Lubomira's space is kitted out with lots of books and toys and is also clean, tidy and welcoming. We receive regular photos of how our son's day is going and him doing fun activities such as reading, drawing, playing outside in her garden or playing inside independently. Lubomira also keeps a daily diary in which she records his naps and the delicious home cooked meals he has had each day.
Lubomira has also been great with us parents, we will very much miss our daily chats with her! From the beginning Lubomira has been wonderful with us as slightly nervous parents leaving our son for the first time and we have often sought her advice on everything from our son's napping schedule to the best buggy to buy. We can always communicate with her over WhatsApp and we have really appreciated how she always has time for us.
We wholeheartedly recommend Lubomira to anyone looking for a loving and safe place for their child.

Lubomira runs a vibrant and loving childminding service where our daughter was truly cared for as an individual. The food our daughter was serviced was all homemade food, which we as parents loved. Lubomira was always there when we had questions. She was also very observant of children in her care and took our daughter’s food allergies into consideration. A truly fantastic childminder.

Lubomira has shown the most amount of love to our son, he was made to feel like one of her family. He learnt manners, how to interact and have fun. It took him a while to settle in but I was reassured by Mira he would get there, he did and I appreciated the hugs and advice too.
For anyone wanting a homely setting for their child and one where they will be loved and nurtured I would recommend Lubomira in a heartbeat.
Lubomira’s experience and knowledge has been paramount for setting our son up for his life ahead.

We feel incredibly lucky to have found Lubomira and couldn't have wished for a better person to care for our children. She looked after both our son and daughter from when they were one year old with the love, consideration and expertise that gave us full confidence and reassurance. Lubomira made it her priority to get to our know our children as individuals and understood their particular likes, dislikes, needs and development. She was always mindful of providing a fun, loving and stimulating environment for them, so much so that both of our children still visit her and feel as comfortable in her home as they do in their own. They adore Lubomira and her family and we are grateful for the positive experience she gave to them and us.

Our daughter started at 11 months and settled in really quickly at Lubomira’s - you can tell how much the littles care for Lubomira and her family, and It was always so reassuring to see our daughter toddle off so confidently through the front door each morning. It’s always a bit nerve wracking leaving your child at first, but Lubomira made us feel so comfortable and our daughter blossomed there. We loved the little diary we got everyday so we knew what they had been up to. We always felt our daughter received the best care and had total trust in Lubomira and her setting. We are sadly moving away from the area, we just wish we could bring Lubomira with us! We feel really fortunate to have found Lubomira and can’t recommend her highly enough.

I couldn't be happier that we chose Lubomira to care for our son when I went back to work - from our first meeting she was warm and cating and reassured me that he would be well cared for. I really wanted him to have a homely environment and this is what Lubomira has provided - my son has thrived there since he started at age 1. He adores Mira and her family and has developed so much confidence while with her! Lubomira has been so flexible and so helpful - for example, doing his dinner early so we can catch our train home, always willing to help and always has the best interests of the children at heart. She supported me as much as my son when he was settling in with her and made the whole transition much easier than I had anticipated.
I love the activities the children do and they spend a lot of time out and about.
Most important to me, I know my son has been loved and very happy in Mira's home. I am only sad that our circumstances mean we have to find childcare closer to home - we will miss her so much!

As a parent, leaving your child with a stranger at 4 months old can be very daunting.... but Lubomaira made me feel so reassured and that I can check on my daughter at anytime. My daughter soon established great routines, seemed like she was at home and very comfortable with Lubomaira and family. My daughter became very confident and that is mainly due to Lubomira. She always provides great activities for the children to do and she takes them outdoors daily, which I really loved. Lubomaira is a very kind, caring, loving, patient and very reliable person (there is not enough words to describe her).her house is nice and clean and food is always cooked from scratch. My daughter is now 10 years old and still loves visiting Lubomaira and family. Absolutely amazing person.

Lubomira was the perfect child minder for my son and for us all as a family. I'm only sad we didn't go with her sooner and highly recommend her services.
I found lubomira to be calm confident and reassuring, loving and open towards all of us, and it felt like family. She took great care to feed my son well and take him to many parks and playgrounds and special day trips. We were all sad to leave her now that it's time for school.

Our son started at Lubomira's when he was 14 months old and we couldn't be happier with the care she provided.
He flourished in her loving care and adored spending time with her 3 daughters. The setting is a proper home from home and it enabled our son to settle quickly and easily with no tears at all. He enjoyed all the daily activities Lubomira would do with him and very much became part of the family. At drop off time he would charge into the house quickly finding his favourite toys and start playing happily. He is now a confident and chatty toddler moving on to Nursery and we know we owe a lot to Lubomira for the wonderful little person he has become. We couldn't rate her highly enough and would recommend her care to anyone.

Lubomira has helped look after my son since he was 10 weeks old and he loves her to bits. He is now 7 and still looks forward to being with her during the school holidays. She has helped me immeasurably and I highly recommend her as a trusted childminder.
