One in a million

Let me tell you about our fantastic childminder Jaine. She is everything we could possibly want or need for our children; highly professional, diligent, patient, caring, inspirational and committed to their learning and development.

We have known Jaine since September 2012 and through carefully planned activities with an inclusive approach, the children love their time at Jaine’s. Everyday is a mini adventure with the range of activities she provides; outings to Chessington and Legoland, playing in the park and going on nature walks, time at playgroups and softplay, craft and art, the list goes on.

From the moment we first met Jaine we knew this is where we wanted our children to be, so much so that when we moved house we made sure that we were still within travel distance of Jaine’s. Her premises are a home from home for the children, safe and secure with a lovely atmosphere. Jaine provides the perfect learning environment for the skills a child needs and we are so grateful for her help with potty training and developing our children’s social skills, especially reinforcing good manners. Safeguarding is of course high priority and Jaine ensures this is in place with the provision of safe and effective care, whilst keeping us updated with any new policy developments.

Jaine provides us with a daily individual report of what our children have been up to during the day and we thoroughly enjoy reading the books out loud at home every dinnertime. Jaine also gives verbal feedback on a daily basis, regular newsletters with the latest updates and she provides a ‘pick up the phone at any time’ option too. The combination of this feedback to parents is perfect for us and if we are ever worried or concerned about anything we always know that Jaine is there for us and that she will provide the support needed; and in some cases the strategies we could try out with our children. We also thoroughly enjoy receiving our EYFS folders, they are fascinating reading and it is wonderful to see the progress of each of our children plus photo evidence of the skills they have developed. Jaine puts so much time and effort into these folders, we truly appreciate everything she does and to top it all we are provided with a photo scrapbook for each of the children. It is brilliant and the grandparents love flicking through the photos, as do we all!

To summarise, Jaine is one in a million and we would be lost without her. She plays a huge part in our children’s lives and they are so happy to have her as their childminder. The children feel safe and secure and Jaine has created the environment for them to be able to flourish in their individual ways.

Highly Recommended!

Our son, Adam has been with Jaine since 2012 and will be starting Laleham Primary School come September. The care, love, support and education she provides is second to none and we will miss her once Adam starts school.
Jaine regularly takes the children on day’s out to play group, Legoland, parks, farms, Windsor castle ect… Jaine provides a book in which she writes Adams daily activities, from where they have been to what was provided for lunch and also how much Adam has eaten.
I can honestly say that I could not have asked for a better childminder. She has been much more than a childminder to us, she is a modern day Mary Poppin’s.

Liked Jaine Straight away

I have been looking for a childminder for 2 months for my daughter Sofia, it is pretty scary as she is my first and you want to get the right person to look after your pride and joy.
Then I came across Jaine, liked her profile and set a date to meet her. I like her straight away. She was looking after 3 children and I could not believe how polite they were and how lovely they were playing together.
Her house and playroom are lovely, I felt so comfortable and at ease as soon as I started talking to Jaine.
The play room was full of fun and educational toys which was great to see and all very clean.
My Daughter Sofia seemed very happy as well and was playing with the other children and also going up to Jaine which was a good sign for me.

Me and my husband are very happy to have found Jaine and looking forward too Sofia starting with her in September. I know Sofia is going to enjoy herself and learn so much.

Good impressions

My son, Alex is starting with Jaine in January. I am so impressed with what I have seen so far, I wanted to write a review.

I have met Jaine three times now, and each time, she has been friendly, open and very helpful in giving me the relevant information about what I need to know about chosing a childminder. Each time, Alex was with me, and she has been brilliant with him - getting a variety of toys out for him to play with and showing him what they do.

I love spending time with my little one and know that when he starts with Jaine in January, he will be well looked after, will have lots of fun and do lots of interesting things with her.

Thank you Jaine for making the whole process of choosing a childminder as easy as it can be.
