I am a competent, trustworthy, caring, happy natured and hard working individual. I love caring for children and watching them achieve their potential in life and helping them to do so. I am passionate about child development, and love creating and organising activities for the children, so they are learning through play.
I also love cooking and have a keen interest in nutrition. I enjoy being active and my hobbies are swimming, walking and reading.
I have worked in a nursery setting for 9 years but now i am keen to be part of a family and work with parents to make sure children have the best care in a home environment. I believe it is a vital part of childcare that i work closely with parents to achieve a clear understanding of each individual child's needs.
My Experience
I have 9 years experience of working in a nursery with children of the ages 0-5. I am currently a Senior Practitioner of a baby unit in a nursery attached to a private school in Chelmsford, however after maternity leave I am looking to become a part time Nanny, preferably before and after school drop off and care.
I have achieved my NVQ Level 3 in childcare, I have recently been first aid trained and I have qualifications in Autism Awareness and Communication Counts for 0-3 years.
My daily responsibilities are caring for children aged from 0-5 years, planning daily activities and provide a stimulating, safe and educational environment.
In my role i use learning journeys and tapestry to monitor each child’s individual development and milestones. Also meeting regularly with parents to discuss their child's progress.
I am DBS checked and hold a clean driving license.
