My Summary

My Experience

I started my childcare career in August 2008 where I worked within a private nursery and was given the opportunity to carry out my NVQ Level two and three.

I worked within the setting for seven years, where I worked within all the age groups (3 months to 5 years) with lots of fun activities to guide them in learning through their play with activities based on their interests and schemas.

I also became a room leader, giving me the great opportunity to lead my team and take responsibility the running of the room; Making sure everyone was safe and happy.

I then left and went onto work In a SEN school; Supporting children with communicating through PECS, developing the children's skills through work stations and activities based on each child's individual interests and needs.

I also supported the children in their personal care, changing of pads and teeth brushing. I worked there for a year and then went onto work within a state school as a Teaching Assistant from 2016 until Dec 2021

I am a fun, caring person who is passionate about what I do.

I am able to carry out fun and exciting activities to encourage and assist your child/children with exploring and learning through play.

I also took on an after-school nannying position for three years for a lovely family of four who had two children 6 and 8. Which involved me collecting one of the children from their school bus at the house (due to her having additional needs) and then going on the pick her sister up from school and cared for them full time during the holiday. In reflection, I realized this was my preferred setting and therefore have decided to become a full-time nanny.

I became a full-time nanny in December 2021 carung for two children aged 2 and 5 at the time. the position at the time involved me having the younger child in the day either staying in and playing with his toys, messy play, baking or going out in the day to parks, stay and play groups, soft play, museums and farms. I also had both children full time in the holidays doing the majority of the above activities.

I left the position in August 2023 due to the position coming to an end as the younger child transitioned to full-time school, and I also went off on maternity leave to have my own child.

My Qualifications

I have an NVQ Level 2 in children's Care, Learning and Development and a NVQ Level 3 apprenticeship in children's Care, Learning and Development in the children and Young People's workforce in England.

My Availability

I am currently looking to join a family on a long term basis.

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
• Nannying from £20.00 per hour (gross)
