About Me
I am an Ofsted registered childminder in Caversham Reading. My last Ofsted inspection in April 2020 resulted in my setting being judged outstanding in all areas. I also offer babysitting. I live with my 32 year old daughter and 30 year old son in Caversham. We have two cats. My eldest daughter lives locally, is a teacher and is my part time holiday assistant. She has a 17 year old daughter and an 11 year old son. I keep our number of minded children low to enable each child to receive the highest possible level of care and attention. Children are encouraged in independence, social skills and child initiated learning through play, supported by the Early Years Foundation Stage. Let's learn and have fun!
My Experience
I have worked as a nursery manager and have been a registered childminder for 30 years. I have cared for many children from the age of 3 months until they started school and then after school. I have experience of children with special needs.
