About Me
Hi I'm Claire, I have over 15 years experience in childcare in education settings. I have worked with Early years children in school nurseries and also with children up to the age of 12.
I also have experience of babies as I have two of my own children.
I work alongside my mum, who is my assistant. She previously spent over 10 years as a primary school teacher.
I am an Ofsted registered graded Good, qualified childminder.
Our setting is a safe, home learning space, that is warm and friendly. We have been told how relaxed and happy our children are by many parents over the years.
We love our unique, fun, learning environment, that offers learning through play.
We are two highly experienced care givers who can't wait to welcome your child into our home!
My Experience
I worked in a primary school for over 10 years. Supporting children from 3 years to 12 years with every aspect of education. I learned that I love seeing children learn.
I also have two of my own children.
I have been childminding since September 2014 and it is the best job I have ever had. I enjoy seeing children learn new things and helping them thrive.
My Qualifications
I have worked in a primary school for over 10 years.
I have been a fully trained registered Childminder for over 8 years.
I am constantly learning through reading and experience.

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.50 per hour
We currently charge £40 for a day.
£7 before school and £12.50 after school.
We are able to offer 2, 3 and 4 year old funded places.

Claire's House is the best! Our son (L) as been with Claire and Deanna over 3 years, It took my husband and I, 3 months to find the right childcare setting, Claire and Deanna made us feel at ease instantly. L loves running into the house first thing in the morning to be greeted by Claire or Deanna....
In this setting he gets to do lots of activities to challenge his learning. L has learned how to be social, interacting with other children who attend Claire's House.
The children get to go out on many outings at no extra costs to the parents/careers.
Communication is Fantastic both ways...This is what parents need to feel reassured ...Even if it's to say your child has had a toilet accident and they need spare clothes.
The service we receive for childcare is amazing and fantastic value, because it's not about the monies it's about our child feeling settled and receiving the right support to help guide through his early years and beyond and this is definitely what your child gets attending Claire's House.
Our child is due to start reception in September 2020 I know L is going to miss Claire and Deanna greatly and I know they will miss him...We all know he is ready to start school because of the fantastic support they have put into our child's learning....We will certainly make sure L does attend during school holidays to the amazing Claire's House!!

Claire and her Mum have looked after my daughter from her being 12 months old. As a new mum i was worried about leaving her to return to work and my daughter also has some development delay so i was also worried about that. Both Claire and her mum are very caring and excellent at looking after your child, my daughter always enjoys going there and felt at ease there straight away. It felt like a second home setting for her. They took the time to get to know my daughter and look out for toys that interest her or things to help with development delay. They are always very reliable also. I thoroughly recommend them as a childcare setting for your little one!

Highly recommended service.. My son is very settled and looks forward to going. The setting is warm and friendly and very inviting. Very supportive setting. Good at communicating with parents.
