About Me
Hi my name is Roxanne and I am a registered childminder. I have been a childminder since December 2013.
I have three children aged 13, 15 and a step son who is 22.
I live with my children, Husband and miniature labradoodle - Rosie! Rosie is a very big hit with all of the children and has a wonderful gentle temperament. She is 5 year’s old and has been brought up around the children from being 13 weeks old.
Heather is my co-minder. She’s OFSTED registered in her own right, level 3 qualified, paediatric first aid trained, holds a full uk driving license and has her own car that is used for business. Heather works Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
Jen is our assistant, she has an amazing 24 years experience in childcare, a level 3 qualification, paediatric first aid trained, holds a full uk driving licence and drives my car to transport the children. Jen works Monday’s and Tuesday’s. During the rest of the week Jen is a TA in a local school.
Katie our apprentice joined us in 2020. She is working towards a level 2 qualification in childcare. Katie works Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Katie offers babysitting during weeks and evenings. Please get in touch if you would like more information.
Diane my Mum was the very first person I ever employed! She’s a wealth of experience having raised 5 daughters. Diane works on a Monday and Tuesday before school and a full day on a Wednesday. She also covers when ever we need her! We are very lucky.
Together we all provide a lovely warm home from home childcare setting. We work from my triple garage convention which was completed in December 2018 so it’s all very new and purpose built. We have our own kitchen and toilet so we are independent from my house.
My Experience
I have my own two children and hold a level 2 qualification in childcare and early years aswell as level 3 in home based childcare, NVQ level 3 in children and young people's workforce, paediatric first aid, level 2 safeguarding and level 2 health and safety aswell as many other short courses. I have also previously early years inspected for Rutland Early years and I am a fully qualified NVQ assessor!

Roxanne is truly a cut above the rest. The love, care and effort she puts in really shows, she treats all the children in her setting like her own. As does Heather. They are a great team and I hand on heart feel so at ease leaving my son in their care. Roxanne will go above and beyond for anyone in her care. Can’t rate her setting high enough!

Roxanne and Heather are amazing. Amaya has been going there since she was 9 months old and she is truly looked after like one of their own. Not only are Roxanne and Heather Childminder’s for Amaya, they’re family too.

Not only is Roxanne a lovely person, she is a fantastic childminder and provides a happy, safe, loving environment for the children she looks after. She puts her heart and soul into her job and it’s truly shows. My daughter has been going to Roxanne’s for 2 years now and my son is about to start with her. I wouldn’t send my children any where else. My daughter thoroughly enjoys going, and I can go to work with peace of mind knowing my children are being looked after by someone I completely trust.
