Both girls loved it,

After I was let down with CC arrangement I contacted Andrea at short noticed, she was wonderful, quick to respond and accommodated my request and questions quickly. On the day, both my girls (8&9) settled and loved the time they spent with Andrea. Asking when they would next be able to go.

Would highly recommend.

Andrea has been absolutely amazing helping me out last minute with childcare before and after school! She is lovely and extremely helpful, my little boy loves going to her before and after school! I would highly recommend her 😊

Highly Recommend Andrea's Childcare.

We are so lucky we have Andrea as our sons childminder for the 12 months, she is amazing always happy, friendly, supportive, flexible to help, and is great friend. Prior to finding Andrea we visited other childminders and nurserys but none of them felt right, as soon as we visited Andrea's it just felt perfect and knew this was where we wanted him to be, all the children were happy and smiley and loved the environment.Our son struggled to settle to start as it was the 1st time away from us ever. Andrea was so patient we went through a plan together and increased hours weekly until he was settled, Andrea provided us with updates / photos through the day to reassure us he was OK and having fun. Amir absolutely loves Andrea and can't wait to go each day, he loves the home to home environment, the activities arranged each day, the lovely set up reflects in all the children as they are all so happy which in turn we are happy and reassured our son is safe, happy and secure.

Highly recommended Andrea!

My daughter is under Andreas’ care since she was two years old. On her first day, she cried a lot, and I was very close to giving up. But I trusted Andreas’ calming words and experience, jackpot! Now Libby says: “Andrea is my friend, and Alfie (her cute dog) as well!” She doesn’t even wave to me goodbye anymore, just goes straight into the house. Andrea´s home is always welcoming, very clean and well-organized. Libby has a lot of fun playing with all of the toys. I like that we are informed over the phone with pictures of Libby´s activities so afterward, we can speak with Libby about her day and what she did. I am also happy that Andrea has her dogs over there because cuddling with them helps her relieve stress.
Andrea is a very, very responsible person, empathic with a lot of experience. Highly recommended!

Fantastic and flexible childcare

Andrea has been looking after my daughter for the last 5 years and I wouldn’t consider going anywhere else! She has a fab, considered, natural learning approach with creative play at the heart of everything she does. The setting has a variety of resources for children of all ages and it’s so lovely seeing all of the children from ages 2-10yrs old playing together.

Andrea has been a godsend when family emergencies have occurred and she’s been flexible at the time to help look after my daughter.

I would highly recommend Andrea’s Childcare and all the children in her care have blossomed in her Reggio Emilia Approach to childcare.

Highly recommended

I highly recommend Andrea as a childminder. She is professional, experienced, trustworthy, organised and efficient and was fantastic with our son. I really like her approach to early childhood (the thought and research she has given to what activities the children do and the play things she provides is beyond what we had ever seen or expected) and it certainly did spark curiosity and wonder in our son. He loved it.
The environment she creates is safe, clean, light/bright and child friendly. We can’t recommend her enough.

Amazing! Warm and friendly

Can’t thank Andrea enough! at really short notice she fit my children in on temporary basis so I could look for more permanent and not worry about childcare so I could still work!
She is super warm and friendly and both children are excited to go to hers! Would recommend her 100%

Amazing, highly recommend

Angela helped me at short notice on a temporary basis when I had to return to work unexpectedly.
She was flexible and helpful. My son absolutely loved going there and I was always updated with how he was in the day!
Would of loved to stay with Angela longer and only adjusted childcare because of schools. She was especially helpful in reassuring me around guidelines during the pandemic, felt so at ease leaving my son with her. Would highly recommend 😊

Andrea's setting is amazing!

My children have been going to Andrea for nearly two years. One, before and after school and the other full days. I truly believe you wouldn't find a better childminder for miles. She is the first UK accredited Curiosity Approach childminder and this setting has made a huge difference to my children. No traditional toys, all about exploring and learning through every day materials. Her child minding room is like a fairy land. My children are happy and always have stories to tell. Andrea keeps me updated regularly with photos and feedback. My girls have thrived since being with her and I honestly couldn't ask for a more trustworthy and talented childminder.

Home from home

Andrea has looked after our son James since he was about 18 months old. She has been amazing and provides a lovely and welcoming environment.

I love the extra measures she takes to ensure the children’s continued development and her creative approach is certainly an added benefit to this.

She always posts lovely pictures of the children at play and is easily reached at any time. James is happy and relaxed when I pick him up or drop him off.

The other children are very sweet and they all play and share together really well. Even with as younger and probably more challenging child I can see James is happy and enjoys his time with Andrea and building friendships.

We have been burned in the past by one on one childcare and I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend Andrea to anyone.

Everyone needs an Andrea! ❤️

Childminder to my daughter

When my daughter first started with Andrea I was a bag of nerves as I hadn't really left her for longer than a hour. Andrea really put me at ease and sent me pictures through the day to reassure me that all was well. My daughter settled really well considering in her 1st week she was teething.
Andrea is fab and her home has all that a child could want/need. She is flexible with my working pattern which is also a godsend.
The daily activities provided and that she is taken to are amazing these include heartbeeps and going to the stables to see the ponies.
I would recommend Andrea in a flash. X

Outstanding in Every Way!!!

I first met Andrea 2 years ago while I was pregnant with my first and only child, she had a group of roughly 10 children eating out. I approched her and asked for her details as the children were extremely well behaved and I could not believe how one person (two adults where present) could have such control......I knew then that she was the person I wanted to look after my unborn child when the time arose.
I contacted Andrea again only 2 months ago (my daughter was then 15 months old) to see if she had any space.
Andrea was extremely helpful in every respect. She fully understood that I "really" did not want to leave my daughter and that I was going to be a frustrated mum!! Andrea helped with all my insecurities and was eager to meet Zara.
Zara has now been with Andrea for one month and I have no issues with leaving her with Andrea. More importantly, Zara loves her time with Andrea.
Zara has progressed already since being with Andrea with her language and play. She is already acting like a Two year old.
I have NO doubt in my mind that I have found the "perfect setting" for my daughter.
I am happy to recommend Andrea 100%.

Andrea's Childcare

2 years ago I decided to return to work as my youngest child had started school but I was unimpressed by the childcare on offer in my area as I felt my son would be overlooked as there were a lot of children at the various school holiday clubs that I looked round. I found Andrea's details on this very website and until then I had not considered a child minder as I thought (wrongly I might add) that they only looked after very young children and that they were very expensive.

I rang Andrea and she invited myself and my son round that afternoon so that I could get a feel for her and how she worked and also to see if my son would be happy there. Oscar loved it the minute we walked in and he loved the fact that Andrea's son was very close in age to himself so he'd made a friend instantly!!

My son has now been coming to Andrea for 2 years, every school holiday and he loves every minute of being there!! Andrea provides excellent childcare provision in a friendly, homely environment and my son and I are made to feel like part of the family.

She organises fun, educational activities for the children as well as trips out to the local cinema which my son loves.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her!!

Outstanding is every way!

I've been reluctant to write a review about Andrea, as with any type of childcare everyone has to make up their own mind on what best suits their needs. Childcare is one of the biggest decisions you make on your childs development. But this lady is so amazing I feel the need to share my experience of her looking after our 1year old.

I first came across Andreas details on this web-site, and decided to call round a visit her to see if she could help with our childcare after the nursery we had Hannah in was not working out due to its location. I usually rely on recommendation from friends and family, but on this occasion we have no family close by and not any friends who have had to use childcare, we were on our own regarding making this big decision and a little cautious. From the moment I met her I knew that this is where we wanted our child to be. Her lovely happy, welcoming home is a perfect safe and fun environment and any doubt I had was quickly dismissed.

Hannah has been with Andrea since Jan 2013 (at 15 months old) and we have never looked back, shes always happy when we drop her off and the same when we collect her, which makes us even happier. It came as no surprise to us that Andrea got awarded 'Outstanding' by Ofsted is March, we already thought this about her.

We get daily updates with photos and messages on what activities Andrea has chosen for the day, all of which are so varied and very relevant and we can see the amazing affect it has on Hannahs development. I love that Hannah gets outside every day, whether its on the school run, to the park or an indoor play area, and has also made other trips to places like a fruit farm, forest park or feeding ducks, to name just a few. Andrea is also very thoughtful doesn't miss any seasonal occasion. Hannah has been there to celebrate Chinese New Year, Pancake Day, choose a plant in the garden centre for Mothers day, Easter and so on, the list is endless.

While doing all this, Andrea remains very professional at all times and we get a daily diary of a round up of Hannah's day, which includes activities, food and nutrition etc. And we take home her Journal regularly which details her ongoing development.

Andrea has totally amazed us with her commitment and love for her job and have never looked back from the day we met her.

Andrea - review

My daughter has been with Andrea for about 16 months now & I couldn't recommend Andrea enough. She is professional, helpful & very friendly & Daisy absolutely adores her, so much so that she said she couldn't wait for the school holidays so that she could see Andrea & the kids more! I feel completely at ease leaving Daisy in Andrea's care, in an always warm, welcoming & fun environment. There is always an array of activities & outings during the holidays & Daisy always come home happy, I couldn't ask for more from a child care provider.

Fantastic .

Andrea has looked after my children for 3 days now and they love it . they only go in holiday time but have asked to go all the time already .

I could not have asked for a more prompt, friendly, orginised and suited childminder for my children. We had to find childcare quite quickly and Andrea was great with a fast response. She instantly made us and the children feel comfortable in her home at the interview. She was well orginised with the daily activities and was very much in control of all the other children there, all of which made us feel more comfortable. Great cumminication throughout the day aswell. I am very keen to keep Andrea as our childminder as the kids love her already : ) ..I would recomend her to anyone even after this short period of time . She has helped our family greatly with stability, which is very important to us, I look forward to taking the kids in the 6 Weeks holidays .. Thank you : ) Mrs O'Neil

A lovely person

I was looking for a childminder to care for my 8 year old daughter and Andrea was inciteful, kind and thoughtful. She made my daughter and myself feel right at home from the onset and I couldnt ask for more. She was understanding of our needs and accomadated them perfectly. Dotty is really looking forward to making some new friends and having cuddles with the bow-wow :) Would recomend Andrea to whoever needs a caring, cinsiderate and proffessional practitioner.

Good is an understatement

Could not ask for a better childminder! My daughter has been going to Andreas for almost 3years now and I wouldn't have it any other way. She's inventive and my daughter always comes home happy. She goes that extra mile for you. My daughter has experienced all new things and has come along so well. At first I was nervous about leaving my daughter but it didn't take long for me to realise there was no need to be. It's like one big family at Andreas and she really becomes your friend. I would highly recommend her to anyone as I have nothing but positive to say. Thanks Andrea.

Andrea's is simply Brilliant!

I placed an ad on here looking for a childminder and Andrea contacted me. My daughter who has ADHD/ODD and anxiety can be difficult at times, so we went for a visit to ensure that we were both happy before our initial childminding period. Andrea is warm, friendly and has an great raport with the children, and parents. Activities are fun, entertaining and educational all rolled into one and my daughter absolutely loves going there. The children all get on really well and enjoy playing with the various pets and learning how to look after them. I'd recommend Andrea to all my friends looking for reliable childcare. Karen S
