About Me
Hello my name is Nicci. I am a very experienced ofsted registered childminder, I have been in this profession for the past 28 years in the South Kent area.
I have worked with all ages of children from new-borns to primary school age.
I offer a home from home environment.
The children learn through play so each day is different and never becomes repetitive. I attend the local toddler groups and the children's centre also we go to the local park so your child has the opportunity for social interaction and get's to experience different methods of play and learn.
I keep a learning journal of how your child is progressing and this also show's the parent how their child is developing to the next steps.
I have a large garden where your child can explore and play in a safe and secure area.
I have a 34 yr old daughter and 31yr old son who have both graduated from university and have since gone on to fulfil there careers and now have moved into there own home's.
I also have a 18 year old son who has just started at Wembley uni studying sports media and finance.
My Experience
As you can see from my profile i am Ofsetd registered and First Aid qualified. Below are just some of my other qualifications and experience within my area of work:
EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) - includes long and short term planning for the child's learning
NVQ3
Numerous child care courses relating to my Continuous Professional Development
RAF (1984-1989) - Served 5 years in the Royal Air Force within the catering squadron also working for the Air Chief Marshall Sir Patrick Hine and fulfilling my career on Ten Squadron (please enquire)

I have an nvq 3 in developing and learning etc
I attend numerous childminding courses ,i also do childcare.co.uk webinars

Nicci has looked after my daughter since she turned one for two days a week. Three months on she can't wait to be dropped off there. Nicci's place is a home from home. Nicci does so many different activities with the children she looks after- takes them to local toddler groups, reading, singing, playing, arts and crafts, cooking, walks outside- that my daughter has come such a long way in her development, especially her communication and fine motor skills. Nicci has so much experience looking after all ages and is a mum of three herself that I actually think my daughter is in safer hands with her than when she is with me! Nicci is calm, kind, organised and very caring, with good morals, behaviour management and a real sense of family values- I can't recommend her highly enough.
