Dear Parents and Carers,
I am a qualified Primary School teacher with twelve years experience and I hold a PhD in education. I am passionate about learning and child development. I am available for tutoring from ages 5 to GCSE level with extensive knowledge of the UK education system including Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2, 11+ exams and the GCSE maths, science and humanities curricula. I believe that all children and young people are naturally inquisitive and it is confidence and positive learning experiences that are needed to develop their academic skills. I also believe that we learn best when relaxed and happy and a nurturing, respectful relationship is the key to this. I have experience tutoring pupils with SEN and can tailor sessions to varying needs and abilities.
