My name is Tina softley. I’m married to Chris we have two teenage children and Woody are very friendly dog.
I have been a registered childminder since 2014 after being a nanny for 25 years. Childcare is my first love
I have a wealth of experience of children from birth to 16 years.
I provide a safe , loving home from home environment. With healthy home cook meals
And a well equipped play room.
My Experience
Over the last 30 years of my childcare career
I have cared for children from birth to 16 years old.
During my training I cared for 3 months old triplets and Four year old triplets.
Also part of my training was in a nursery school.
During 25 years as a sole charge nanny I also worked abroad.
My last job as a nanny was for 12 years when that finished my next step in childcare was to become a childminder.
My Qualifications
I have a NVQ level Three Caring for Children
I have completed Children I the CHIP course which covers the early aid paediyears foundation stage.
I am firstatric trained.
I have completed the Safeguarding training.
I keep myself updated on courses and anything that will help me develop my Early Years children’s development.
My Availability

My Childminding hours are 7AM till 5.30PM

Tina is an incredible childminder and we honestly couldn’t have wished for anyone better to look after our son. She’s warm, fun, bubbly and reliable. My son absolutely loved Tina and we always felt so relaxed knowing he was being so well cared for. Tina made sure the days were filled with plenty of activities but also down time when needed. Our son has a lot of allergies but we always felt assured that he was safe with Tina. She also often offered to take care of our eldest son during school holidays which was an absolute god send on occasion! We miss Tina lots and would recommend her to any parents.

Tina has been the childminder for our son and daughter since I returned to work when my son was 14 months (now almost five). It’s difficult to put into words what a wonderful childminder she is and how lucky we have felt to find her to care for our babies. She has a natural way with children and they all love her! She is an extremely kind and caring person who genuinely loves all the children she looks after. She makes sure the children are happy, well fed and entertained. I always trusted her completely and knew my children were in safe, competent hands. I can not recommend her enough!

Mrs Softley was a Nanny to my two children for 11 years. She has a natural affinity with children. My children were extremely happy in her care and I could go to work every day with total piece of mind. After school she made sure that they were well fed and had done their homework. In the holidays she kept them busy with the right balance of creative ideas at home and outings. I highly recommend her as a provider of childcare.
