June has been looking after my son after school for the past 4 years. She has always shown him great care and understanding, and he loves her dearly. She always tries to accommodate extra sessions for us if she has space, and throws birthday parties for the children, which is a lovely touch. I find she goes that extra mile. During term time, she will ensure the children read to her or her sister and will document this in their reading record, and will get them to practice their spellings, if appropriate, but will judge each child's individual needs. The children are kept occupied with arts and crafts, and plentiful outdoor activities. We are very happy with the care and compassion that June provides to our son.
