I have been working in childcare for 14+ years. I have been childminding since April 2014. Before this I worked as a Nanny for 10 years and I also worked in nursery.
I am a confident, hardworking, responsible, bubbly and energetic person who loves children.

I have 17 years experience in childcare with children from newborn to teenage years.

Review for Mila's Little Owls
I cannot recommend Mila's Little Owls highly enough! From the moment we met, it was clear that Mila and her assistant Tanya have a genuine passion for caring for children. My son absolutely loved spending time there and always came home happy.
Mila creates such a warm, nurturing, and safe environment where children can learn, play, and grow. They provide a wonderful balance of structured activities, outdoor play, and creative learning, which has really helped my child develop confidence and new skills.
Communication is fantastic – I always feel informed about my child’s progress, meals, and daily activities. It was reassuring to know that my little one was in such caring and capable hands.
If you’re looking for a reliable, kind, and dedicated childminder, Mila is absolutely amazing. We feel so lucky to have found her!

Mila has been a remarkable and dedicated presence in our lives for nearly two years, caring for our son with a blend of patience, warmth, and professionalism that has exceeded our expectations. From the beginning, it was clear that Mila genuinely cared for my son, providing him with a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
Throughout their time together, Mila has shown incredible attentiveness to Khuselo’s needs, engaging him with activities that have helped him grow, learn, and thrive. She is patient, communicative, and proactive in ensuring my son has all he needs physically and emotionally. Her creativity in organizing educational play and consistent routines have been essential to his development.
In addition to her excellent care, Mila has built a wonderful rapport with our family, keeping us well-informed and involved in Khuselo’s daily progress. Her reliability and commitment to his well-being have made her an irreplaceable part of our lives.
We feel so fortunate to have had Mila as part of my son’s life and highly recommend her to any family looking for a truly exceptional caregiver.

Our son was with Mila from 1yr old. The setting is amazing with so many toys and structured/planned activities which have given Toby the maximum opportunity to develop during his time there. The outside space is second to none and in the summer Toby had so much fun playing in the paddling pools in the safely shaded areas. Mila has regular trips to the Zoo, soft play and shops which is not something we would have got if he had been in other childcare care settings. She ensures good manners and behaviour which was really important to us. The development in Toby has been staggering and this is down to how wonderful Mila and Tanya have been. We were devastated when it was time for Toby to go to pre-school as Mila and Tanya and Mila’s lovely husband and children have been family to us. I would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat. Just a fantastic setting and we miss it terribly but feel fortunate and so so grateful to have found such a great start for our son.

Lili's been with Mila since she was 6 months, and now she's 3 yrs old. I can't find the words to explain how caring and loving Mila has been. Obviously, after such a long period she's become rather a family member, and Lili's aunt, than simply a child minder. Mila provided all what a child needs: fun, plays, development, safety, good food, and foremost loving approach. I would absolutely recommend Mila's Little Owls to anyone who wants their child to be happy. Lili loves going there, and the only heart breaking moment will be for all of us when Lili would have to move forward and leave it for full time schooling. Definitely 6 stars out of 5. Thank you Mila!

Our daughter has been going to Mila since September 2018, we cannot rate Mila high enough. She has been fantastic with our daughter and is extremely flexible as my hours changed at work recently. Our daughter starts full time school in September and will really miss Mila.

My son has been going to Mila since he was 8 months old and he loves it. Mila is brilliant with children and treats them as her own. She is very switched on about child development and goes out of her way to teach them about the world. She encourages good manners and behaviour. Her setting is lovely with lots of toys and activities in place. Her garden is totally geared up for children which they all love. She enjoys cooking for them too. I have found her to be flexible on hours and will help out as much as she can. I can't recommend Mila highly enough. She is a real find.
