About Me
Amarh's baby and Child-minding (abc) service is located in East Barnet, EN4. I am Early years Ofsted registered Child-minder.
My setting is fully accessible next to the large park at Park side Gardens. I welcome children of all ages/stages/abilities/cultures. I offer a safe,caring,educational and exciting environment for children to play, explore and develop to their full potential. I have a variety of playing equipment for stimulating your child both mentally and physical development.The needs of your individual child will be met by observing and monitoring your child, taking into account their ability, likes and dislikes. Your child will enjoy an interesting and varied daily and weekly routine including cooking, creative activities and gardening as well as trips to parks, libraries and other educational venues.
For example, your child's day with me could be structured: around a routine similar to this:
7-8.30am: Arrival & Breakfast
8.45-9.15am: (Literacy/Personal and Social) – sing songs, do actions, nursery rhymes, talk about me and sharing.
10.00-11am Outdoor activities/ playgroup
11.30-12am: Lunch time
12.30 -1pm: Nap
1.30-3.00pm:Outdoor sand /water play, ball-games, hide and seek in tents
3.00-3.30pm light snack
3.30-4.00 Guided activity (fine/gross, motor skills, creative activity)
4.00-5.00pm Dinner time
5.30-pm Free flow play
6.00- 6.30pm - Story time/ TV/DVD/Computer
The times and activities are flexible and will adapt to age and abilities of children.
I am really enthusiastic about child-minding, I am kind, fun and very patient. I always work with the children to bring out the best in them so that they learn and develop to grow into caring children ready to start school.
I am flexible and aim to work with parents by exchanging information with you about their child on a daily basis.
My Experience
I have worked in varies roles in the local Authority for over 20 years. My last employment was within the Children & Families department , known as the Common Assessment Framework(CAF), where I coordinated the work of Social workers on children deemed to be vulnerable. Following early retirement, I obtained a certificate in setting up a home based childcare service with (CACHE). I have gained certificates in Paediatric first aid, Disclosure barring check, Food hygiene level 2, Safeguarding and Protecting children.
As a member of the professional Association of Childcare & Early Years (PACEY), I am required to meet all the conditioning of register authority Ofsted.
I have over 35 years’ experience in raising four children. My two youngest children live with me and my long term partner. My 19-year-old is in her 1st year of University. My other daughter is aged 24, a teacher at a School in central London.
-I also have of lots experience looking after young babies and children whilst working as a Nanny and as a Childminder.
-I am Early years professional-Ofsted registered Child-minder.
-I am CRB/DBS checked
-Food Hygiene level 2 certificate
- I hold a first aid Paediatric certificate.
- My home has been risk assessed for child-minding.

-To keep abreast with good standards, practice I am linked to Barnet Child-minding coordination unit. They provide ongoing training, which will assist my child-minding business.

My Availability
My hours of work are between 7.30am - 6.30pm, outside of these times availability is by arrangement but prices vary accordingly. Contact zero seven nine two zero three two four three three six.

Meals are cooked freshly daily. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) sample menu can be provided on request.
