We have repeatedly thanked our lucky star to have found Lesley when we were looking for childcare for our children: Lesley has been taking care of our sons from when they were under 1 year old, up to pre-school age, and in the three years we have known her we have not had to worry once while our children were in her care.
Not only does she provide a beautiful and safe family home with lots of toys and activities, but she is also going to great efforts to make sure the kids are out in the fresh air, and seeing lots of places, from parks and playgrounds to the beach, toddler groups, museums, farms, ... you name it. On top of it all, we were kept up-to-date with lots of pictures and updates.
One of our sons had serious food allergies and she was absolutely amazing in making sure he was safe without being excluded. - Her love for children and her experience are instantly obvious, and we can only wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a loving home away from home for their child!

Our daughter stayed with Lesley for 2 years and we all loved every moment of it.
Lesley is more than a childminder she provides a home from home, children are happy, never bored and learn a lot.
On a practical level, There are constant updates on the activities of the day, flexibility when need be and a lot of care.
The hardest part has been to say good bye…
We can only recommend Lesley.

Our son started with Lesley when he was 14 months old and has enjoyed two years in Lesley’s care. When we first met Lesley we instantly knew she was the right childminder for us. She is highly experienced, confident and trustworthy. It’s clear Lesley loves being around children and they love being in her company too. Lesley treats the children like they are part of her family and gets them out and about daily to play park, beach, soft play, toddlers class…they are always doing something. It is a very happy environment offered. We really appreciate the regular photographs sent to us on WhatsApp each day and our daily diary so we know how much our son has ate, slept and amount of nappy changes ! It was one of the hardest decisions for our son to move on to a nursery to take advantage of government funded hours. We feel so lucky to have had Lesley as our childminder as she has helped our son have the best start in life.

My son went to Lesley's for about a year, unfortunately due to moving house we had to stop. Lesley provides Superb service for children she has in her care! My son is very energetic and he had received exactly what he needed at Lesley's as there were many outdoor activities and also trips to different places which my son loved. Thanks a lot for everything, James misses you a lot!xxx

Lesley is an excellent childminder and has played such a huge part in my sons development, he’s very sociable and confident and I cannot thank her enough for the childcare she has provided.
I was kept updated throughout each day which really put me at ease (as a first time mum), it was lovely seeing photos of how much fun he was having.
I also received a daily diary which detailed meal times, nap times, nappies etc.
Lesley’s home is a great environment.
Highly recommend!

Our daughter started with Lesley at 13 months. We chose a childminder as I wanted a mixture of ages in a homely setting. We immediately felt comfortable with Lesley in her beautiful home with all the space, toys and activities a child could want! We were happy that the children would be out and about each day at different activities, eg mixing with other children at local playgroups or visiting playgrounds and softplays further afield. Our daughter has been to places we had never taken her eg Gorgie Farm and Butterfly World so she has made amazing new memories with Lesley! We feel she has a genuine love for the children in her care, encourages their interests and development, our daughter truly loves spending time with her and we know that she is safe and well looked after. Lesley sends pictures throughout the day so we know what they are getting up to and most of pictures of our daughter that we have around our house have been taken by her...she has a real knack for getting a big smile! Current circumstances meant our daughter did not attend for the past 5 months but she restarted this week and has been very excited. Shes now 2yrs 2m and talks about Lesley's house, being picked up in the car, seeing the other children and what they will do together. Im so glad we chose this setting as it has been a success all round!

Lesley looked after my son from P1 to P5 and I never once had a moment's worry when he was with her. She provides a caring, fun, safe and active childminding service. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a childminder.

Our son Finn (8 months when he started childcare) loves going to Lesley, from day one he’s been really happy there! Lesley has been brilliant at keeping us updated during the day with photos and messages (very reassuring for first time parents!). She keeps the children entertained at the house, park, toddlers groups or trips to the beach and other fun places, Finn is always exhausted when he gets home :) I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lesley to any parent, we consider ourselves lucky to have found her!

Another fantastic experience with Lesley. My daughter has been going to Lesley's childminding for the last 2 years and has had an absolute ball. Lesley had also previously looked after my little boy and for me there was no one else I wanted to look after my little girl. Lesley is a very active, hands on childminder who always has lovely activities planned, from toddlers group to walks down the beach, day trips further afield like Fairy Trails or trips to all the best local parks, days at soft play and my daughter’s favourite - home baking. She always keeps me updated throughout the day, with my little lady having the best time. Nothing is too much trouble for Lesley, she is super accommodating, helpful, kind and caring, always happy to go that extra mile - she really has been like a second Mum for my little girl. Not only do I consider Lesley a fantastic childminder, I would also consider her a friend. I cant recommend Lesley enough, your little one really would be in the best hands!

My son was with Lesley 2 days a week since he was 11 months (he's now nearly 3) and when I dropped him off he would run through the door without a backward glance. He loved his time with Lesley who would take him on wonderful outings to the beach, the playground, soft play and provides lots of toys in her home and outside in her garden. My son would always talk happily about Lesley and his time there and the other children. Lesley always sent lots of updates through the day. Sadly due to a house move, we have had to change our childcare arrangements. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

My son has been with Lesley since he was 10 months old and we are delighted with the care she provides for him. She is genuinely kind and loving and the children are always out and about at playgroups, parks and other fun places. He has a great time with her and is always talking about her, her wee boy, and the other children she looks after. She is always reliable and great at communicating with us during the day. She’s also been very patient with the ongoing potty training! I am really glad we found her - as other parents have also commented, it really helps you feel good about being at work when you know your child is in such good hands.

Our son has been going to Lesley for 6 months now after my maternity leave. It is such a huge relief to know he is in such good care while we are at work. He is always delighted to see Lesley in the morning. We really appreciate her daily communication and updates. We also love how much time is spent outside ever day at the park, beach or in the garden.
We would not hesitate to recommend Lesley. :)

My daughter has been going to Lesley's childminding coming up 2 years now and has absolutely loved every single minute of it! Lesley does things with her from toddlers group, walks down the beach, trips to the park, soft play, home baking. My little girl feels like part of Lesley's family. Due to my daughter starting school this year she is absolutely gutted having to leave Lesley's she has been a big part of her life since she was 3! I can't thank Lesley enough for everything she has done for me and my daughter. She really is one in a million. Highly highly recommended!

Lesley is a very experienced and caring lady and my daughter loves to be with her 4 days a week for myself to work. I would recommend Lesley as a childminder to anyone as my experience with her was comfortable and enjoyable for myself and my girl, she looked after and cared for my daughter. i am happy and content to go to work knowing my daughter is getting looked after taken out trips when can and generally just being with someone she liked. :)

My daughter has been with lesley for 14 months and still loves going each day! Lesley has toys for all ages and caters for my wee ones every need. She knows her inside out and my daughter loves lesley and her whole family. I feel confident knowing *E* is well looked after in Lesley's care. I would (and do) recommend her service to anyone looking for childcare!

Our wee girl of now 8 months has been with Lesley since December last year. When we arrive at Lesley's door she starts smiling before the door has even been opened. They do all sorts of activities which she clearly loves. I get daily photographs and updates on what they have been up to. Ä is changing and developing at a rapid rate and Lesley provides a stimulating and homely environment for her and adapts to her changing needs easily.
Sadly I am struggling with the early starts and late finishes which my job involves and have had to change to someone who comes to the house but we would have kept on with Lesley otherwise.

Lesley has been looking after my daughter after school for over a year and we couldn't be happier. Her friendly, enthusiastic manner and fantastic way with the children gives me confidence that my daughter is in great hands. She creates a great environment for the children and my daughter loves being there.

Lesley is a wonderful childminder, my son loves his days with her, jumping out of my arms into hers!
Lesley provides so much variety to the day, taking my son to play groups, soft play, farms, the beach and various parks. There are a couple of other children on the day my son goes and it's great interaction for him but within a homely environment.
My son also loves playing outside in Lesley's garden. I would highly recommend Lesley, she is excellent with children and highly professional.

Lesley is looking after my 5 years old boy and I couldn’t be happier with her excellent and tender manners. It is a huge peace of mind for me to know that whilst I’m working my son is in safe hands and more… he’s Happy. She’s really sensible about the kids best requires and how to keep them amused. Also, I’m quite happy with the variety of indoors and outdoors activities she is evolving with my son promoting his intellectual and social development. Lesley use to send me daily reports with photos about the activities they did which make smile because they are always smiling and happy. My son and me call her “our friend Lesley. I highly recommend her.

My daughter is 1 and has been looked after by Lesley since January. As a first time mum I was worried about leaving my baby but Lesley put me and my partner at ease. She keeps us updated with loads of funny photos and videos of our daughter throughout the day and keeps track of her progress. My daughter loves Lesley and her family and her face lights up when I mention her name! I have noticed my baby blossoming into a social and very bright young girl and I believe Lesley plays a huge part in that! Lesley's play area is amazing and she has fantastic garden space and always has the kids out and about on fun trips. Lesley is very respectful of parents wishes and she has a great approach with the kids. I Would recommend her to any parents looking for childcare:) x

My daughter has been going to Lesley since November last year & absolutely loves it! Lesley is constantly taking them out & always doing fun things at home. She has a big enclosed garden with trampoline etc for the sunny days. My daughter settled in pretty quickly at Lesley's & absolutely loves going. Couldn't say anything negative about her going. I go to work every day with no worries at all as I know my daughter is in safe hands at a lovely family home. Can't thank Lesley enough.

Lesley looks after my son and it is a huge weight off my mind to know that he is happy, well looked after and having fun while I'm at work.
The playroom is large and bright with toys that are ideal for learning little hands and my son loves them:)! There is also a lovely, secure little garden area to play in.
My son looks forward to coming here every time. I definitely see him coming on leaps and bounds since coming here, with his confidence and social skills blossoming under her care.
I will definitely recommend Lesley to any parent!

Lesley looked after my 20 months old daughter when we were visiting Edinburgh for one month and cannot say enough positive things about her. She provided a home away from home for our daughter with lots of toys and games and even a trampoline, and she provided many stimulating activates like making cookies. She also took our daughter on fun outings to the beach, playground, and indoor soft play park. My daughter also really enjoyed playing with the others kids that Lesley cares for and now that we are back home in the States our daughter keeps asking for “Lesley and the kids” almost everyday and says she missed her. It’s very touching and is evidence of just how wonderful a caretaker Lesley is. She is very reliable and I especially appreciated the photos she would send me of my daughter throughout the day and the summary sheets she would send me at the end of each day which listed all the activities my daughter took part that day in including what she ate and drank, when she took a nap, and even how many nappies she had! It was so thorough and so reassuring to have such a thoughtful, caring person looking after my daughter. I highly recommend her.

My son is in P1 and started with Lesley in August of this year. He settled in quickly and she made him feel very comfortable and welcome. There are always games and activities to do and on warm days they go to the park. She has a lovely big garden and the children love playing in it. She sends me photos all the time and lets me know what they did and how he's been when I pick him up.
My sonj asks me every school day if he's going to Lesley's and on the days I say yes he goes "yay!". He was previously never happy about going to his preschool so this have been a very positive change.

Lesley looks after my 3 year old girl and has been absolutely wonderful. My daughter has activities every day keyed in to what she likes to do and I get regular updates and pictures of the time she's with Lesley. It really is a home away from home and Lesley has been both supportive and flexible with us, in order to provide the stability regarding childcare that my daughter needed. My daughter loves going to Lesley's each day, and I never have to worry that she's being well cared for and stimulated.

If your needing excellent child care and peace of mind then Lesley is the childminder for you! My son Kade has been with Lesley for a year now and he absolutely adores her! Nothing is too much trouble, always happy to lend a hand when needed and always reliable! Lesley always keeps Kade stimulated with daily trips to either soft play and/or mother and toddler groups! She keeps up to date record of his progress and what he has done that day not to mention photos she sends of my little man having a ball. Her family are absolutely lovely too and Kade loves having so much fun with her little boy. All in all an amazing, kind hearted, friendly lady who I would definitely recommend!
