Hello,
My name is Skye, I'm a mature friendly 25 years old and have my CACHE Level 3 Diploma and Paediatric First Aid certificate.
I have been a nanny for the past 5 years in London. But am now looking for a new family!
Over the last two years I have gained a wide range of experience working with pre-school children in local nurseries as well as babysitting older children. I am very creative and love involving children in craft activities both indoors and outside; I am also interested in food and nutrition and understand how to deal with food intolerances and allergies.
My Experience
- To create a happy, supportive and safe environment
- Assist children with learning shapes, numbers and colours
- Encourage good vocabulary and communication skills
- Sing songs and read story books
- Organise craft activities (and clean up afterwards!)
- Plan and execute outdoor activities
- Organise play days
- To play with the children and teach them how to take turns
- Encourage the children to use their “Pleases” and “Thank yous”
- To be a good role model for the children.
- Support babies and children who were feeling unwell
- Help with the children's homework
- Create healthy meals and snacks if required.
- To inform parents about their child’s day
My Qualifications
Children and Young People’s Workforce Level 3 CACHE Diploma (QCF),
Childcare, Education and Creative Crafts Level 2 CACHE, Paediatric First Aid and 8 GCSEs.
