About Me
My name is Nikki and I am a registered child minder in Stanley. I live with my partner and we have 3 lovely children. I love doing creative activities and getting messy with my children and decided a couple of years ago that I would like to do it professionally and I became a registered child minder with Ofsted in June 2009. I live on a lovely quiet residential street, my home has a dedicated playroom and a large secure back garden which hosts a new wooden log cabin and lots of outdoor play equipment. I am also registered on the West Yorkshire Police Childcare Network and the NHS Childcare Network too. I am also a member of the National Child Minding Association. I have recently completed the City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce.
My Experience
I have been child minding for over 14 years, as well as the experience gained of caring for my own 3 children. I have experience of caring for children with special needs. I offer a full range of activities to aid children's development aiming to cover all area's of the Early Years Foundation Stage learning requirements. I have a wide selection of toys, books and dress up to encourage learning through play. We have creative and messy sessions which include baking, modelling and painting. And when the weather is fine we love to play outdoors in a secure garden which hosts a huge selection of bikes, trike, cars and scooters, a large pirate ship water table, a wooden junior log cabin and slides. I also love to take the children on outings and picnics. This year we also arranged a visit to a local fire station where we were given our own personal tour, sat in a fire engine and were even allowed to use the water hoses!!! My Availability
I care for children from birth to 11 years.
My working hours are 07.30 to 17.30 Monday to Friday.
I offer a school drop off and collection service at Stanley Grove Academy.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £9.00 per hour
- Childminding from £4.50 per hour
£4.50 per hour (before 8.00am and after 5.30pm time and a half) - Friday 07.30 - 17.30This includes snacks, drinks and well balanced nutritional meals to incorporate the recommended 5 A Day fruit and vegetables.
£6.75 per hour outside of the above hours.
