About Me
I am a Ofsted Registered Childminder. My last Ofsted i was graded 'GOOD'. I provide quality childcare in a caring family environment for children aged 6 months to 8 years. I live with my husband and two children and 2 dogs. We have designated play room and an enclosed garden.
I provide fun and challenging activities that are suitable for all different age groups and are designed to enhance and stimulate your child's development.
We have lots of messy activities such as painting, playdough, sand and water play. We love to play outdoors and make use of a lovely enclosed garden.
My Experience
I have 20+ years experience working with children working in a private nursery setting swell as a childminder.
I have a good knowledge of providing a wide range of learning activities to suit all ages and needs to help promote your child's learning development using the EYFS curriculum. We use an online system to record your child's progress and development and share it with parents
We are a team of 3, myself and 2 assistants. Both assistants have worked with me for over 9 years.

I currently have availability from July 2025, Tuesday - Friday
I work Tuesday - Thursday 8am - 4.30 & Friday 8am - 3pm

We visited many childminders in the Swadlincote area before meeting Claire who shone way above the rest. We haven't looked back after 2 years and my son still goes to Claire now despite the fact that I am no longer working as he enjoys it so much and has become good friends with both of Claire's sons.
Claire has always been accommodating with my changing work pattern and more recently I was very grateful to her for picking my son up from school and providing last minute care during a difficult and unpredictable pregnancy, she was more than happy to help every time.
It's clear to see that all of the children adore Claire who remains professional, attentive, caring and friendly whether it's first thing in the morning or last thing in the afternoon.
Claire also has a lovely home and garden and the children are always kept busy with different activities.
The monthly newsletters that Claire sends out are a great way of keeping up to date with the children and Claire always has time to talk about their day and what they have been up to.
I can not recommend highly enough.

Thank you for the lovely review. Since the review has been left i'm sorry to say my beloved dog Maggie has past away. She will be missed greatly not only by us, but the children who attended my setting.
