About Me

Hello! I'm Stephanie, I’m a qualified Early Years Teacher and I have a nursery provision based in my home in Burnage, South Manchester. We have been registered since January 2023 to provide childcare for up to 20 children.

Prior to this, I was registered with Ofsted and our last inspection was graded Outstanding in March 2019.

I work with a qualified and skilled team of staff and together we provide a warm & friendly home nursery environment for children to learn and play.

We are based in an extended semi detached house in Burnage with an enclosed back garden for children to enjoy all year around.

The extension to the rear of the property is used as a bright and spacious play area with a variety of toys and activities for children to experience and enjoy. Our educational resources allow children to be part of a stimulating learning experience and all children are encouraged to participate in daily group activities.

There is an easily accessible downstairs toilet with everything a child would need for toilet training and nappy routines.

There is also a separate quiet sleep room nearby where children can relax in a very peaceful and comfy environment. Children can either sleep in a travel cot, on a sleeping mat or on the sofa bed depending on their age/ability.

The garden area is equipped with a bespoke children’s wooden castle & climbing wall, a decking area, a tree swing, climbing frame and slide. There is a large lawn area renovated in August 2021. Additionally there are outdoor toys, a sand and water tray, mark making area, seating areas and the grass area to play ball games. The children absolutely love playing in the garden and have abundant opportunities to be physically active!

I use the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum to track children's progress and to plan developmentally appropriate activities for the children. We have recently put a emphasis on Nature in our planning by incorporating a nature based study programme for our early years children; training them up to be ‘Wanderlust Nature lovers’ from an early age!

Progress is well documented via regular whatapp messages and photos. They are shared with parents on a weekly basis (sometimes daily for those wow moments!). We also have a file for each child with each child’s development tracking and art work. Parents are encouraged to participate in every part of their child's learning and I am keen to share my knowledge and resources so that children's learning can be supported at home.

Menu and meals- We cater to Halal/Vegetarian/Dairy Free/Vegan & all dietary needs.

I freshly cook tasty and nutritious meals each day and children are encouraged to offer ideas for the choices of meals on the menu. All snacks, meals and drinks are included within the daily fee.

I offer school pick ups/drop offs at Green End Primary School. Before and After school care provision includes Breakfast and Tea.
