About Me
I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder who works alongside another childminder and an assistant. i live in a residential part of Huyton, close to Malvern Primary School and within easy walking distance of St Margret Mary's Primary School.
Children in my care receive the highest possible care, and I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage principles, working closely with both parents and nurseries and schools that the children may attend.
Whilst with me the key is to have fun while we learn. My house has a large conservatory / play room for indoor play and a quiet room for stories group learning , a large private garden and a wide variety of toys and resources. we also have a craft room at the bottom of the garden for messy play and craft activities including sensory activities. we visit playgroups which help children learn and play with others and we go on many trips and outings,such as farms, parks, museums, play areas and places of interest. We have recently started to bring in some of the forest school approaches in our setting, as we very much are about outdoor learning, whatever the weather. the approach brings in all kinds of knew learning experiences that the children wouldn't gain being indoors.
My Experience
I have been looking after children for 18 years as well as bringing up my own daughters who are 19 and 21 and i also have a little boy aged 10 .
I have 28 years of experience of running my own business so i am a good communicator and i have worked closely with knowsley social services in the past looking after children.
i also have experience with dealing with children that have T O F and stomer problems. I also have senco training and have experience in working with children with learning difficulties. I am currently extending my knowledge for the forest school approach.

At present i have vacancy's for 0 - 3 years
I can pick up and drop of at st margret Marys school .
We also run a breakfast club and an after school club, phone to discuss availability.

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.75 per hour
new government free child places are now available depending on eligibility.
Ring for fee's, hourly rates depend on time of arrival and departure
I a child arrives at 7am - after 5pm, daily charge is £40
If a child arrives 9am - 4:30pm daily charge is £38
