My Experience

I have achieved a level 3 national diploma in childcare and education as well as a level 3 national diploma in public services.

I am currently looking for a nanny position as I have not long finished with my family of 8 years. I love looking after children of all ages and creating special memories. I now have a little girl of my own who is 18 months and can definatly see how rewarding and challenging it is, not just from a nannies perspective but also as a mother.

Nanny - January 2017 – April 2020


I have been working as a nanny for this family since January 2017, in sole charge of three children now aged 7, 5 and 2 who are an absolute pleasure to look after. My job role entails looking after all three children when they are in my care and making sure that they are stimulated. I plan various activities with the children including arts and crafts, messy play, baking, educational games and day trips during school holidays. In term time I am responsible for ensuring the children are dropped off and picked up from their schools, nursery and after school activities. I ensure that the house is kept clean and tidy and I plan healthy weekly food menus. During my time with the family we have grown close and I have a unique and beautiful bond with each child. I have been made to feel like an extended member of the family.

Nanny - September 2016 – September 2017

During my role as a nanny with this family I cared for two children aged 4 and 2. This role was very much the same as the role I am currently working, ensuring that the children are well looked after and that they are meeting their learning milestones. I would again plan weekly activities with the children and arrange playdates with their friends, which the children very much enjoyed. I would also help with household jobs related to the children, such as washing, sorting the children’s clothes and toys.

Nanny/health support - March 2015 – July 2016

I worked with a 4 year old boy for just over a year and my role was to ensure that he was well stimulated through play and fun activities. This child has cerebral palsy so he has specialised needs that could change on a weekly basis depending on his health. Within my time when working with the family I planned daily activities that would help his learning development and also keep him well entertained. For the majority of the time I worked alongside another nanny or nurse to make sure that there was enough support for both his learning and medical needs. My time with the family sadly came to an end in July 2016 as unfortunately the child’s health deteriorated such that he required a higher level of medical attention and his care was taken over by nurses.

I have worked with babies for 2 years age range 4 months-18 months as a nursery nurse and progressing on to be a senior nursery nurse.

prior to working with babies i have worked with children aged 2-4 years in another setting.

in the last year i have done regular babysitting for babies and toddlers for parents in my setting.

I have gained experience building up good relationships with parents supporting them with the development of there child/children as well as everyday personal care.

My Availability

My Fees

• Babysitting from £14.00 per hour
• Nannying from £15.00 per hour (net)
