About Me

Hello,

I will be looking for a new live out nanny role from September 2025.
Open to full time(Ideally 4 days) as well as part time role.(2-3 days)
Finding the right fit is most important.

My current role is ending due to the little girl starting nursery.

I am based in New Cross/Deptford area.
It is a short walking distance to Greenwich and Brockley and with excellent travel links:Overground,DLR and National Rail on my door step.
I would love to stay in East or South London if possible but willing to travel for the right position.

I am Montessori trained and have been working with children for 18years, 14 of which have been as a nanny. I have experience working with a wide range of ages - newborns, toddlers, preschoolers and school-aged children.

Currently looking after a 2 year old little girl in Shoreditch.
Started when she was 5 months old.
I also have experience of working in nanny share where I looked after 2 children from two different families.Children were 1 at the start of the role.

My longest nanny position was when I worked for a single family, supporting them in full time care for both their children over a period of 8 years. I looked after two children from the ages of 5 months (the eldest sibling) and as a newborn (the younger sibling).

Prior to this role I worked with another childminder in North London for 4 years. I helped to set up and run a Montessori setting called Kentish Town Montessori. I was the head teacher and was responsible for planning yearly and term activities for the children, holding parents meetings and generally overseeing the EYFS curriculum. In my career I have also worked in both America and the UAE. I have excellent references available upon request from all my previous employers and parents.

I love working with children and I am passionate about it. I believe each child is unique and has huge potential if given the right environment, tools and care.

I have current DBS and First Aid training. I also have extensive experience in both weaning and potty training and am happy to work alongside parents as much as they would like in order to go through these important developmental milestones together.

Please get in touch if you would like to explore further and I can forward a full CV plus references.

Looking forward to hearing from you :)

Magda

Magda has been with us for 8+ years as a Nanny to my two daughters. During that time, she has been punctual, flexible and has never taken a day off sick. She is honest, trustworthy and 100% reliable. Magda is caring, patient, enthusiastic and truly enjoys developing curious, independent and confident children. Magda does not impose her views and is sensitive to the needs of everyone she is dealing with on a daily basis.

Magda has had sole charge of my daughters (eldest since 5 months, youngest since birth). From the beginning, Magda has used her Montessori training to implement a good routine, that is flexible and robust enough to accommodate changes e.g. a new sibling or sickness. She has taught both of my daughters how to eat, crawl, walk, read and write. She has used various tools and methods to meet these milestones including potty training.

Over the years, Magda has focused on working on my daughters’ weaknesses as well as continuing to develop their strengths. Magda is active and enthusiastic and will make use of the several playgroups that are on offer which has helped my daughters with their social interactions.

Magda continues to be a pleasure to work with and will be an invaluable asset to the next family she joins.

Please do not hesitate to contact me should you have any questions.

Regards

Tanuja

Magda has been the nanny for my son as part of a nanny share for the last 18 months (since he was 1 year old) and I can’t recommend her highly enough.

She is a highly experienced and skilled educator and is always thinking of new, creative and fun ways for the little ones to learn. She very thoughtfully arranges toys and activities in the space every day and carefully plans the day ahead with a mixture of indoor and outdoor free play and learning activities.

Because of Magda’s calm, patient and confident approach with the children, my son has gained so much confidence since being with her and has generally come a long way. As a late walker - he started walking at 2- my son wasn’t the most physically confident child but Magda patiently supported him to gain confidence in being on his feet, walking as well as climbing ladders etc. I think that close attention, encouragement and confidence from Magda has really helped him.

Her calm and confident approach has also been key in helping my son and his nanny share buddy learn how to be around each other (and, in turn, others) and be kind, considerate, patient, take turns etc.

Magda is very dedicated to her role and loving with the little ones. My son has formed a deep attachment to her to the point that he often asks if he can see Magda and his nanny share buddy on his days off/with us!

We are extremely sad to have to end the nanny share but will look to maintain contact with Magda and hope to be able to work with her again in the future. Anyone who has the chance to have Magda look after their child will be very lucky. She is a gem.

Magda has been caring for my daughter Eliza for one and a half years so far, since she was a year old. We began a nannyshare arrangement (hosted at our house) in September 2019 with a family we met through NCT. Since then, we have all managed to not just survive but thrive, during three lockdowns and counting!

It’s hard to know where to start when reviewing Magda. She is not just a consummate professional and educator with deep experience and a vocational passion for early years, but one of the most selfless and kind hearted people I’ve had the privilege of knowing.

Her dedication and care for Eliza and her current nannyshare buddy is second to none. She is constantly thinking about things which might support or improve their day - from the big (she was a guiding light and constant support when we embarked on potty training last autumn) to the little (always on the look out for play resources, even saving the cutest little empty pots of toiletries, to add to Eliza’s little treasure basket of little things to play with!). Magda is also conscientious to a fault - she would have to be on death’s door to call in sick and has a horror of letting anyone down.

As an educator, Magda has not just the academic knowledge of technical theory but the skill and instinct that only comes from years of deep experience. I have an (amateur) interest in early years theories around child development and education and love learning from Magda - both in conversation and also just hearing and observing how she is with the children. Both my daughter and her playmate are the loveliest company for their age. I can now start to see more and more how they are supported and encouraged by Magda to be curious, determined, patient (with each other and themselves) and also to listen - to instructions from adults and also to each other. They also have a huge amount of fun and silliness! I love hearing the peals of giggles coming up the stairs from a new game of “throw the cuddly toy while making a funny sound” :)

We feel luckier than we deserve to have met her and welcomed her into our family. I recommend her without hesitation - and in fact my advice would be to grab her and hold onto her as long as you possibly can! I’m happy to give any further feedback or answer questions - please feel free to get in touch either here or else Magda can provide my contact details.

My daughter attended Kentish Town Montessori Nursery where Magdalena worked as a head teacher with another childminder.

My daughter was 10 months old when she joined and 3 years when we left due us relocating. It was amazing to see that my daughter could read 2-3 word sentences at the age of two and a half. She started to become independent, for example starting to put on clothes by herself and tie her shoe laces.

Magdalena is very professional and caring and knows how to really apply the montessori approach into practical learning experiences for the little ones.
She really knows how to engage with the kids, my daughter loved going to the nursery every morning and there were many days she wouldn't want to leave to go home because she was having so much fun.

I couldn't recommend Magdalena highly enough, she is extremely passionate and trustworthy and a lovely person. I am happy to provide any further feedback for Magdalena.
