My Summary
About Me
Hi, I am Louise!
I am a qualified nursery nurse and for the last 5 years have been working as a self-employed live-out nanny and play-worker at a local primary school.
I would describe myself as a fun and caring individual who is very trustworthy, hard working and loyal.
When I work with children my priority is always to help them feel confident and happy with me as this develops a strong and trusting relationship.
I provide lots of fun during play because I know that is how they learn best and will observe their progression and help to extend their development. I always provide some feed back at the end of the session to keep you updated.
I have been told on many occasions that children naturally gravitate to me which is a compliment as I love caring for them.
I do have a good sense of humour and love anything creative. Hobbies include , cake decorating, gardening, swimming, zumba and piano. I love spending time with my own family, bike riding and holidays.
I would describe myself as loyal, dedicated, patient and passionate person.
I am respectful of families and children needing to be the best they can possibly be in life.
I have had some experience of caring for a child with autism and know that they have amazing talents and abilities if lots of support and time is given.
To extend a wider understanding of autism I worked as a volunteer in a local autism unit with children aged 4 - 11 years.
It is a goal of mine to work one day with an autistic child in their own home environment as i feel that is where they feel the most secure and ultimately encourages them to develop their social skills.
I am self employed/employed . I also subscribe to the DBS update service, which keeps me regularly checked and enables you to have access to this information free of charge.
My Experience
Worked at Tibshelf Pre-school nursery where I completed my nursery nurse qualification for a supervisory role. Teaching was delivered under the Early Years Foundation Stage and covered in depth knowledge, teaching and learning.
I also worked with children with individual education plans to support their speech and language difficulties.
I worked in the Sure Start Centres in the Parent and Toddler groups delivering different activities to both child and parent with story telling and songs.
Also was part of the creche helping to plan and deliver activities .
I have worked for the NHS as a creche worker for 14 years, delivering - The Living with children and Teenagers course. Being a team member and independently planning, observing and delivering activities that are age appropriate for children aged 0 - 7 years.
As a playworker I experience working with children aged 4 - 11 years. I am capable of supervising large groups of children, delivering imaginative fun activities that allows the child choice, freedom, control and support to enjoy their playtime.
I have attended a course called 'Son Rise' in London for Autism over a three year period and gained valuable knowledge and skills with promising results.
Researched and used alternative therapies which include homeopathy, B.I.R.D and dietary changes for intolerances to food.
I presently hold a current DBS with Derbyshire County Council as a part time playworker and a DBS for childcare at home. I have up to date checks so I am very legit.
I am an ofsted registered live-out nanny, hold excellent references, so please ask to see them.
I am available for work with my present DBS and references if acceptable to the parent.
Can be contacted through the childcare company and on my

Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have, only too happy to help.
Thankyou

Thank you Veronika, you made me cry with you sentiments. I am happy that she has become a strong confident young person ready to take on the next stage of her life.
Wonderful parents, wonderful child! xxx
In my opinion she is an excellent childminder. This is both in terms of how happy my children are.
She is very experienced, has a natural talent and empathy with children and has put a great deal of effort into developing her skills with a wide range of training courses.
She is very good at noticing which toys and activities they enjoys and lets me know
She is very observant about his development and good at keeping me informed.
'I cannot thank enough for all surpport . I could not have wished for a more professional, caring and dedicated cover. I will miss you as much as the boys will. If you are looking Childminder I highly recommend.

Thank you Agi for a lovely review. I will miss you and the boys too and not forgetting our very early morning chats. Lol!
You are a wonderful mum - the proof is in the boys🙂
Keep in touch! You know where I am if needed again.
All the best Louise x
Louise collected my daughter from school for 3 years from 2016 to 2019. My daughter took to Louise from their initial meeting, and their relationship has gone from strength to strength. Louise is punctual, extremely reliable and I have trusted her with my daughter and home for 3 years. Louise has become like part of our family.
Louise goes above and beyond, always putting effort into activities and ready with suggestions like reward charts when needed.
Due to a change in circumstance, unfortunately, we no longer need Louise on a regular basis. However, we will continue to see Louise for occasional work.
I have no hesitation in recommending Louise to others, she is superb!

Thank you for your kind words, it means a lot to me. I have always felt welcomed into your family and have enjoyed helping and supporting you both. I have gained two lovely friends who luckily I will still get to see again :)
This is the second time we have used Louise and we were very pleased that she could look after our little boy aged 1, part time (like she had previously with our little girl). Always punctual and reliable. My son settled very quickly with Louise and enjoyed playing both at home and at the park/ on nature walks etc. Can not recommend highly enough. Completely trustworthy (and fun!)
Louise began employment as a part time Nanny in October 2016 until July 2017 as part-time mornings 7am-9am term time. Louise’s main duties involved waking and getting the children dressed, giving them breakfast, entertainment in the morning and then driving them to school.
I had personal life changing issues and needed a part-time nanny for my two children 7 and 4 whilst I was at work. Prior to Louise I had never used a nanny. I had severe trust issues and with this position I required someone to look after my children in my own house, entrust with a key to lock up the house and take my children to school. When I needed to change my hours and Louise was more than happy and willing to change to my needs. She assistant with additional babysitting duties when I needed her in the evenings.
Louise is a tremendously patient person. She has supported my 4-year-old who has had difficulty with toilet training giving positive re-enforcement, encouragement and reward charts. She has created reward charts and taking turns charts and brings external activities for the children to play in the morning. The children adore Louise and look forward to telling her about their weekends/school. She takes an active interest in their likes and provides activities that are individually focused. The children have been through an emotional roller coaster and Louise has been there to help them with stability and emotional support.
Sadly, due to a change in career I no longer require Louise’s services and we are all going to miss her terribly as she has felt like part of the family during employment. I do not exaggerate that Louise has been a Mary Poppins for us she will be a fantastic asset to any home and family. We will still be using Louise for occasional evening work as we could not possibly lose contact.
