About Me
I am an experienced childminder (25years)with qualifactions relevant to my position(early years and education svq3 ,GIRFEC training and a PDA in Autistic spectrum disorders). My own children range from 13-26 and I have 25 years behind me as a childminder, as well as Playgroup Depute for 3.5 years. I continue to work with children as a childminder as I love my job and I enjoy working with children and like to be able to make a difference. I provide a safe , stimulating environment within our family home where children are treated respectfully as individuals, as well as being treated as Id expect my own to be treated. I utilise local amenities such as parks, beaches toddlers, library and soft play and am constantly looking for new things for us to do. We have large outside area with mud kitchen/waterplay as well as a playroom where the children are free to choose from our selection of toys and loose parts. Free play is available at all times.
Children are encouraged to be kind to each other and remember that everyone is different??
I am a community childminder with SCMA and also working in partnership with Fife council.
My Experience
Twenty five years as a childminder, three and half as playgroup depute as well as constantly in touch with other childminders. I attend relevant courses as much as possible and also completed a PDA in Autism and Autistic spectrum disorders.Each child is different and will be encouraged to the best of their abilities . I try to keep abreast of any changes and attend our local ACES meeting, having attended talks on internet use, benefits of outdoor play with the ecology centre.
I am also a community childminder with SCMA and also work in partnership with Fife council.

My workjng hours are 7.30 - 6 with room for flexibility, monday to friday.
