Hello my name is Nicola, I am a OFSTED Registered Childminder based in the Woodley area, just off Gravel Bank Road near to Woodley Train station.
I have been Childminding since February 2015 and I absolutely love my job. In my last Ofsted inspection in April 2023 I have been graded GOOD in all areas.
I provide a home from home environment so children are able to learn, develop and thrive at their own pace. My home is a very warm, welcoming and friendly home with alot of resources and toys for different age ranges.
In my household I have my partner, a 14 year old Son, a 3 year old Daughter and a cat who is 12, she loves children being around her and will sit and watch them play, she is regularly wormed and fleaed.
We are outside on a daily bases either out in the garden, to the park, down the canal and we go for walks in all weather conditions.
I provide a nutritious lunch, snacks and drinks throughout the day (included in the fees)
We go on fun and educational trips out to soft play, regular library visits, playgroups, trips to the farm, to the park, museums and to the cinema. All included within fees.
I except the Government funded hours, universal credit and tax free childcare to help towards childcare costs.
My Experience
I am an experienced childcare provider with over 18 years experience with working with childen aged 0-11 years and nearly 10 years of those I have been a childminder, I have worked in a variety of early years settings such as nurseries, schools, as a manager of a crèche, after school clubs and in my past job I worked my way up to hold the position of a baby room leader at a local private day nursery, I have great knowledge of working with the EYFS.

*Level 2 Childcare and Education
*Level 3 BTEC National Diploma
*I have a Full Peadiatric First aid Certificate
*Fully insured
*Safeguarding trained
* DBS Checks on myself and partner
*Childminding Certificate
My Availability
My working hours are Tuesday to Friday 8am til 5pm.
Closed on Bank Holidays full fees apply if it falls on contracted days.
