About Me
I am an Ofsted registered childminder living in Newhall. I was graded as ‘Outstanding’ on my last inspection in January 2020 and have worked as a childminder for 12 years. I live with my partner, two boys (aged 16 and 18), and our pet cats. My home is situated in a quiet road with easy access to local parks and schools and allows for easy and safe drop off and collection of children.
I have a range of well organised toys to stimulate and nurture all areas of children's development in a caring family home environment. I work closely with parents and carers to ensure all children are safe, happy and reach their full potential. We enjoy going out and about visiting local parks and woodlands, stay and play groups, Twycross zoo and Conkers to name but a few.
I can accept the free 2 year vouchers for eligible children and 3 year funding vouchers.
I offer both part time and full time places and try to be as flexible as possible to accommodate your childcare needs. Please contact me for a chat or visit.
My Experience
I am a qualified teacher and have 12 years experience of working as a primary school teacher, specialising in the foundation stage (3-5 years) and received excellent grades from Ofsted during my teaching career.
My Qualifications
As well as my teaching qualification I also hold a current first aid certificate and have attended many training courses for childminders. Please ask for more details
