A real gem!

Gemma has been an absolute blessing for our family. From the moment our daughter Dominique started with her at just 10 months old, we knew we had found a real gem. Gemma's nurturing, kind, and professional approach immediately put us at ease, and Dominique settled in with her far quicker than we ever expected. The environment Gemma fosters is not only safe and welcoming, but also full of fun, learning, and care. It's clear she genuinely loves what she does, and that warmth shines through in everything she offers.

Gemma provides a lovely mix of activities both at home and out and about – Dominique always looked forward to their regular trips to local parks and playgroups, visits to the library, and even adventures to museums or farms!

We couldn’t recommend Gemma highly enough – she’s an outstanding childminder and a truly lovely person.

Fantastic! Highly recommend

Gemma has been looking after my daughter for over a year. I was so anxious about leaving her with somebody especially due to being due very prematurely. Gemma is a very kind, nurturing, creative, caring and outgoing lady. I trust Gemma completely with my daughter. She has come on leaps and bounds since being with Gemma and it’s so beautiful to see. If you have any worries or concerns Gemma is there straight away to talk to you. I honestly couldn’t recommend Gemma enough to anybody who is looking for childcare.

Excellent childminder

Gemma has been childminding my granddaughter since January 2024, Maisie has thrived since being with Gemma and has come on in leaps and bounds. Gemma takes Maisie to the park. Library and play groups. She involves her in everything. Even taking her on days out pumpkin picking with her own children, I trust Gemma implicitly and would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a childminder. Gemma is very patient and has the child’s best interests at heart. Maisie is very well cared for as if she was one of Gemma’s own and I feel 100% at ease when dropping her there. Maisie has some development needs due to being very premature and Gemma is helping us in every aspect of helping her and getting all the help we need.

Excellent care

Gemma has done childcare for me for almost a decade and is fantastic.
She's brilliant with my children - as babies and as they've grown. From changing nappies and fun games, to now making sure they have age-appropriate activities.
My youngest has seizures and I always felt confident that when he was in Gemma's care she knew how to look after him.
Gemma is brilliant at fun activities, trips to the park etc and has endless patience. She is so good with children - a real skill.
She is also great with my child who has ADHD. She really understands SEN and offers lots of support.
Anyone who has Gemma for childcare is lucky to have her.

Amazing with children

Gemma has been the childminder of my twins for over 2 years now.
She's super active and does plenty of different activities with them. She is also very flexible with our requests and she has been very supportive with them through their development and worked alongside us with their speech delay and therapies.
Kids absolutely love being with her and we would choose her again a hundred times over.

Child centered approach to EYFS

Gemma has been our childminder for nearly three years. She looked after both our children since they were 11month old. Gemma is very loving and caring towards our children. She has a very calm way of talking to them and will patiently explain to them what is expected of them.
Gemma provides a range of motivating play and learning activities catered to their interests and takes their wishes in to account. She will also plan around experiences relevant to our kids. E.g. role play about hair dressing before we take them to get a hair cut.
Gemma is very flexible and provided a very slow and child led settling in period. Our kids love attending her setting and we can only recommend her.
