My name's Karolina. I'm from Poland and I'm 33 years old.I'm a cheerful, warm and sensible person, full of energy, really sporty and very hands-on. In my spare time I enjoy reading books, listening to the music or simply being outdoors, jogging or taking pictures. A sentence that defines me: it's a must to go to bed every night having learned something new.
Being a nanny is a pride for me and I consider it a way of living. It offers me the advantage to do all the funny things that almost all the people unfortunately have to stop to do once they become adults (like getting everything messy doing art-crafts, baking and playing football in a muddy field!), but also the opportunity to give everyday the best of myself, helping busy parents to raise their children so these ones become independent, well-behaved and happy individuals, with strong skills for the life and a healthy and good mood to face the future.
My Experience
MY EXPERIENCE:
For the last 13 years I've worked as a sole-charge nanny in five families. In the first family I was employed for 6 years and I've been taking care of three boys. By the time I started aged 7, 3 years old and the youngest one was 8 month old. In secon family I had two boys: 5 and 3 years old, and a 4 months baby girl. In a third family based in Wimbledon I was for 1,5 year looking after 3 years old girl and 13 month old boy. Then for one year I take care for 2 years old boy. Unfortunately the family decided that they can't afford childcare any more. Currently I’m a nanny of a 9 years old boy and a 5 years old girl in Balham. The girl started reception and the parents don’t need full time service. I'm looking some new family who need a help with their children from January 2022. A resume of my many duties:
-Responsible for the safety and the well being of the children at all the time.
-Reading to and with the children, helping them with the homework.
-Homeschooling children over pandemic lock down.
-Cooking nutritious and age related meals.
-Being firm and discipline with children when needed.
-Bathing children and changing their nappies. Potty training. Encouraging children to brush their teeth and hair, to get dressed by their own...
-Creating imaginative and fun games and activities to enjoy together but also to encourage them to being active and independent and lead their own games.
-Taking them shopping and to the library, parks,etc.
-Teaching them good manners and being kind and gentle with other children and people.
-General nursery tidying up and duties related.
