About Me

Fully qualified in CACHE Level 3, OCN Maternity Nursing Level 3 & 4, OCN Sleep Training Level 3 nanny with over 8 years of experience.

My number one rule is: safety is key! I have a BSc in Paramedic Science. The course was a blend of practical learning in the hospitals, clinics, GPs and classroom learning that allowed me to gain the knowledge and set of practical skills required to deal with a range of emergency first aid situations that arise when looking after children and babies. Further, it gave me a thorough breakdown of common illnesses and injuries. I have gained many excellent skills in areas such as administering oxygen and medication, resuscitate, make key clinical decisions using my professional judgement, deal with allergies and epilepsy, ability to work autonomously and function under pressure whilst maintaining children’s needs, just to name a few.

I am a dreamer and cannot stop working towards my goals but still have my feet firmly on the ground. I have gained a great deal of childcare experience in the UK as well as abroad with children from as young as 5 weeks up to 12 years of age and I was responsible for all aspects of their care. I built my childcare experience up from babysittings, au pair, mother's help and nanny/nanny share positions. I am a restless person who has the need to feel useful and valued. I consider myself to be a calm, patient and cheerful person with a caring and loving attitude towards children. I have been a nanny for over 7 years and am still in contact with the children I have looked after over the years as we established a deep bond from our times together.

By being your nanny I would like you to feel that you have an extra pair of hands. I know how helpful it can be as I have a much younger sister and 3 brothers who are at a similar age to me. When my sister came into the world, I was only 12 and caring for her was a large challenge for me as it was my first experience in childcare. However, I took to this position naturally. I have always lived with, and been surrounded by, children, hence my passion for wanting to work with them. I am always amused how somebody so tiny can be so smart! I have loved watching children develop through the varied activities we have shared both indoors and outdoors.

I don't speak Spanish or FrencH but for me, the most important thing is that I think we all need love and at the end of the day, children should feel happy and safe in my arms. I can communicate and listen well. I'm a nanny who inspires and fuels curiosity and enjoys creating a fun-filled environment that will stimulate children's development. I plan days with a mixture of fun and structured learning from local resources such as children's centres, parks and museums. I like going out every day whatever the weather. It doesn't always have to be organised activities, just a simple walk, visit to the duck pond or exploring in the garden.
I appreciate tidiness and cleanliness and I care for the environment in which the child is in. I'm prepared to undertake light household duties, although the care of your child or children of course takes precedence over this.

Past experience has aided me in improving myself. For example, I have learned to become extremely patient with duties entrusted to me. I ensure I undertake tasks carefully. In addition to work, I am someone who strives for a happy life and a lot of joy :)

I would like to find somebody I can partner with to play an important role in bringing up your child or children as good mannered, caring, and considerate individual/s.
I live close to Central London and I am willing to travel a fair distance as my location has good transport links. I am a driver with a full and clean driving license held for over 5 years and I am a non-smoker.
