About Me
I am friendly, reliable, bubbly and outgoing 18 year old girl who is currently looking for childcare jobs in and around the area of Epsom in Surrey.I have lots of experience having looked after children who are aged from around 3 months-10 years.This comes from babysitting for family friends, local families in the area, doing work experience at a pre-school and a primary school and additionally coming from a big extended family. I attended university from September 2015 until December 2015. However I felt that rather than going straight for a degree I was more interested in gaining additional experience and potentially doing a nursery apprenticeship. I feel that the experience of university gave me a big insight into independence which I thoroughly enjoyed. Cooking, cleaning and tidying are skills which I feel I gained very quickly through my university experience and skills which I feel will come in very handy in the sector which I would like to work in.

My Experience
• volunteered at an infant dance class for 6 weeks. Children were aged 4-6 years and this role included teaching the children dance steps, chaperoning them on breaks and ensuring they stayed motivated and on task. I feel that this role really improved my skills of patience and motivation.
• Work experience at St Joseph's Catholic Primary school in Epsom. I worked with the reception class (4-5 years) and my role included helping the children with their work, ensuring they stayed motivated and on task with their work and playground duty.
- Work experience at a pre-school with children aged 1-4 years. This role gave me a glimpse into nursery life and what the daily routine at a nursery was. Additionally I learnt about what activities are suited to the different aged children.
• Have previously babysat children, the youngest aged 3 months and the oldest aged 10 years. I feel that this gave me an insight into what the different age groups of children are like and what skills you need to be able to work with them and take care of them.
