About Me
My name is Bryony, I have 17 years experience working as a nanny. I have worked with children from birth and have 4years experience looking after young twins. I am a reliable, responsible, caring and loving nanny. Being a nanny is not just a job, it is about fitting in as an extension to a family.
As a nanny I love to be out and about come rain or shine-splashing in muddy puddles provides many hours entertainment for the little ones. I socialise a lot with other local nannies so the children can build a strong circle of friends and develop their social skills. I know of a variety of baby & toddler groups including music time at the library.
I cook fresh nutritious meal from scratch and always encourage a healthy lifestyle. I like TV time to be limited and encourage learning through play.
Outside of work I enjoy running and gym classes. I socialise with friends both going out of an evening and group dinner parties. I also spend a lot of time with my family and Godchildren. I enjoy baking and have made many Birthday and party cakes for my charges, friends and family.
Again I like to be out and about, even if it's just a muddy dog walk on a rainy day.
My Experience
I have 17 years experience in childcare.
June 2005-August 2009, Thursday & Friday, Nursery Assistant at St George's working with 2-5 year olds.
June 2005-April 2011, Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday-sole charge nanny, one boy aged 11months. In August 2008 the family had their second child, a girl who is now my God daughter. In August 2009 I started working for this family 5 days a week (mon-fri).
April 2011-Decemeber 2014 Monday-Friday, sole charge nanny to boy/girl twins aged 7.5 months. Then reduced to 2 days/week December 2014-September 2016.
December 2014-September 2016, 3 days a week with one child aged 14months. Increasing to 5days/week September 2016-present day totalling 8 years with my current family.
Excellent references are available from both private nanny jobs.
My Qualifications
I hold a CACHE Diploma Level 3 in Childcare and Education.
I am trained in Paediatric First Aid and have undertaken training on Child Protection and healthy eating/food hygiene whilst at college.
My Availability
**I have now found work so am currently unavailable as of Jan 2023**
Mon-Fri, 12hour days.
Unfortunately part time hours are unlikely to be suitable for me unless I can work something with my current employer (4 long days could be negotiable)
