My Summary
About Me
Hello,
I'm originally from Poland and came to England in 2004 to work as an Au-Pair. Working for this family included looking after four children aged between 8 and 16 years old.
Because of my passion for child care, I followed my dreams and worked at the Dodford Farm Daycare Nursery in Wiltshire for three years and consequently completed my NVQ Level 3 in Child Care.
After this I became a full time Ofsted Registered Nanny over a three year period looking after two children aged 4 years and 18 months respectively. This role included usual Nanny duties and household management.
Since 2014 I have worked for two separate families...the first family having two children and the second family having three.
Working with the first family involves looking after a 6 month old baby and a 9 year old girl. The second family includes twins of 7 years and a 3 year old. With this family i undertake general Nanny duties and household management. As well as preparing meals I am responsible for the children's development through play, outdoor activities, after school club attendance and other child related tasks.
Working as a Nanny allows me to fulfill my passion for outdoor activities, teaching cookery and art and craft. I feel that this is an important part of any child's development.
I am a highly efficient, motivated and reliable person. My qualities include being caring and empathic. Being a Nanny has allowed me to develop good organisational and time keeping skills and importantly communication with parents, school staff and children.
People have described me as open-minded, optimistic, sensible and with a great sense of humor. I feel I am kind, creative and very safety conscious.
It is important to mention that I prefer to bond with families for a longer period of time to provide consistency for the children in my care rather than changing jobs every year.
