About Me
My name is Alice Dawson and I live in Beverley town centre. I went to Bishop Burton college and did the Level 3 extended diploma in Childcare and Education, which was two years long which includes level 2 paediatric first aid and food hygiene. I would describe myself as hardworking, caring, fun, mature and punctual. I have been a registered nurse for a year and an half and spent time with a midwifery team as a part of my learning. I have babysat and nannied for families since I was 15 years old ranging from newborns to teenagers. I enjoy reading books, cooking, running, cycling, art and walking my dog.
My Experience
I had a summer nanny job for a year looking after 3 children aged 2, 5 and 9 and a puppy 12 hours a day 5 days a week. I worked at Educare nursery in Beverley for 3 months then went onto my second nanny job as a live in sole charge (mon - fri) nanny in shrewsbury looking after a little girl for a year also.
I have recently finished babysitting two young children which I babysat for 5 years (reference available)
As a part of my college course I had to do placements in childcare settings such as nursery schools and primary schools which gave me a lot of experience with working with children of all ages.
