Hi, my name is Julie and I live in the Norton area of Runcorn, where my setting, Julie Roberts Runcorn Childminding is based
I have been an early years practitioner for over 10 years and my own children are now grown up being aged 22 and 25. Both have left home.
My setting has been HHEYS accredited (Halton Healthy Early Years Status) for promoting health and wellbeing in the early years.
I am also a member of the Forest Childcare Association. This means I am committed to outdoor learning experiences, to ensure the children encounter lots of play in nature, to explore and learn.
My home is close to the local parks and there is a dedicated playroom full of fun and educational toys to develop and stimulate your childs senses and skills. There is also a large enclosed rear garden here and the children can play with all of the outdoor equipment, feeling safe and secure.
I often take the children to various playgroups, childminding groups and soft play where they can socialise and interact with other children.
The Early Years Foundation Stages program is followed for all of the children I care for and my overall focus is on having FUN, FUN and even more FUN whilst learning.
(I hold a Diploma qualification in counselling so that I can help children to understand the different emotions they experience)
My Experience
I have the experience of being a mother of children who have been cared for by a childminder, nursery and after school care. I am therefore able to identify areas where that particular service has been successful and incorporate this into my own environment.
My counselling qualifications help me to understand the differing emotions and feelings that children can encounter. In my role as a childminder I believe I am able to help children to work through their emotions, so they have a feeling of self-worth.
I regularly attend playgroups where I have the opportunity to speak with other childminders and listen to their experiences and advice.

My Availability
I understand how difficult it can be to balance work life with childcare and therefore I offer a flexible service to suit the needs of working parents.
I provide drop off and pick up from St Bertelines Primary School.

Julie is so lovely and has been an amazing part of our childminding journey. My little girl adores her and has come on leaps and bounds. Julie provides excellent care with learning and fun activities for all of her age groups. Julie has also helped with my older daughter when we have been stuck to . We originally put our twin boys in a nursery but after nearly 12 months they were still not settling. After just one day with Julie, they have been excited to go in each day and often talk about all the activities they do with Julie throughout the week. Not one day is the same, with plenty of outings, learning and crafts. Julie is so thoughtful of the children in her care and their families. We can’t recommend Julie enough as a childminder

Julie is such an amazing childminder and we are so glad we chose her to care for our daughter.
She is amazing with the children and loves them like they are her own, always going that extra mile for them.
My daughter thrived under Julie's care and we felt safe knowing she was being so well looked after. Nothing is too much trouble for Julie and she is one of the nicest people you could ever meet.
We were constantly kept upto date on our daughters progress and the learning and development that Julie provided was amazing. She is constantly teaching the children new things to get them ready for when they start school. Even my child's reception teacher commented on how much my daughter had already learnt from Julie.
Her home is a wonderful environment for children to thrive and her family values are passed on to the children.
We can't thank her enough for being there during the first years of our daughters life and for helping her grow into the confident little person she now is

I use Julie for both an after school facility and in the holidays.
My little girl absolutely loves going to Julie’s and can’t wait to tell me about all of the fun she has had. Julie provides regular updates and photos of all the fun my little girl is having.
Julie is very accommodating and will always try to assist where she can with any requests I have.
I couldn’t recommend Julie enough.

I use Julie as an after school provision for my two daughters and I couldn’t be happier with my choice for my girls.
Julie is not only an amazing Childminder, she is one of the loveliest people you’ll meet. I know when my girls are with Julie they are in the safest hands. They also have lots of fun too.
Julie always provides updates of what my girls have been up during their time with her and I can guarantee they’ve had a great time. Often when we collect them they ask why we’ve come so early. They’d happily stay longer.
We don’t always need holiday provision but if we do Julie will always try her best to accommodate us.
If you’re looking for a childminder for your little ones I highly recommend Julie.

Words cannot express how wonderful Julie is with children!
She is one of a kind who treats our child like they are one of her own and we are all made to feel like we are part of her family.
She goes above and beyond with the care she provides and really goes out of her way to help us at all time.
The love she shows the children is just so heartwarming and the experiences and learning opportunities that our child is part of are just outstanding (Forest School, Safari Park, Cheshire Ice-Cream Farm, soft play, music groups, library, parks, arts, crafts, everyday learning)
We know that our child is so loved and we feel safe in the knowledge that Julie is caring for them so well.
She keeps us updated on our child's progress and is continually striving to help them achieve their goals. Our child has progressed so well with her.
Julie's home offers everything and more that anyone could wish for their child. The resources she provides are brilliant and her home is a loving and nurturing place. Her garden area is amazing and my child especially loves the nature corner with the mud kitchen.
We are so glad that we are part of Julie's family and we will always be forever grateful that she helped our child grow ❤️

Where do I start with Julie (Juju) my daughter absolutely loves her still to this day, even though she now only attends in the holidays.
Julie looked after my daughter from 18mths up until she started school, she was nurturing and caring towards her I felt relaxed her being in Julie's care, she also catered for my daughter being a fussy eater.
It's definitely a 5* from us she is part of the family now.

We have used Julie's childminding services since 2015 and would not want to send my girls anywhere else.
My youngest daughter started with Julie when she was 9 months old. After that tough decision to return to work, Julie made this process so easy for me.
Julie now collects my daughter from school and drops off too. Plus we utilise her holiday club which is a god sending! On the days we don't need Julies services my daughter often asks if she can go there instead!
I never have to worry about a thing when my children have been with her, she not only looks after them in a home from home setting, but has provided educational support and individual support.
I genuinely could not recommend her services enough.

Julie is everything you could hope to find in a childminder. She has looked after my children from when they were tiny toddlers, right up to starting High School looking after them as if they were her own. She has cared for them, helped to educate them and most importantly helped to bring them up in the right way. I couldn't ask for more from Julie for all she has done for me and my family over the years. Can't recommend her highly enough.

From the minute we met with Julie prior to our boy starting at St Berts 18 months ago, we knew she would be perfect for our requirements.
Our boy goes to Julie’s between 2-3 times a week and loves spending time there; dancing, playing, and learning with the other children with the support of Julie.
Her home is a lovely friendly place and our son tells us the food is always brilliant after a long day at school 👍🏻
She is 100% reliable, flexible and has become an invaluable part of our life!
