Amazing care giver

My little boy Oscar was cared for by Barbara for only a couple of months before we had to move home. During that time, he settled quickly and was very happy and content with Barbra. We are very grateful to Barbara for everything she did for us.

Exceptional Childminder!

What can I say about Barbara? Honestly, she is the most loving, nurturing, encouraging, caring, active childminder I know. My son Arthur has been with Barbara for 2 years. He is starting school and we, as a family, are so sad Arthur is leaving.

She has been a fantastic childminder to my son. Every day is an exciting day and my son has never not looked forward to going to her house. Arthur went Mon-Thurs 8.30-4pm. This is a long day for a child so young and as any parent, you always worry about leaving them but I can honestly say Arthur would've stayed longer if I let him.
He was treated like a member of the family by all of Barbara's family including her husband and her two children when they visited.
Arthur would go to Willows farm and paradise wildlife park weekly and always looked forward going to parks, groups and to the seaside.

A really important quality I wanted in a childminder was for them to keep my son in a routine and introduce new things to him like food.
Barbara would cook beautiful home cooked food my son and often took home cooked food out with her when they ventured out for the day. She would always use fresh ingredients and he would have fresh fruit daily. He often ate foods with her he wouldn't eat with me so I was really impressed.

The setting in which Arthur is in daily is beautiful. Barbara's house is a home and is stunning. She has a very large play space for the children both indoors and outdoors and her home is spotlessly clean. My son has been taught so many beautiful manners like not eating when walking around and to sit at the table when having food which I think is a really lovely quality to install in to a child. I love how Barbara also talks to the children. Always gives them time to talk and voice anything they need to and she will always give her 110% attention to the children and explains everything she does or anything that's needs explaining. Little things like teaching my son to put his own shoes on and having the patience to sit and talk him through it no matter how many times he would try putting them on the wrong feet.

Barbara is honestly a superstar!

Just who I was looking for!

Barbara looked after my son from 11 months until he was 2. Initially I was nervous about going back to work and leaving him, however with Barbara he quickly settled in which put my mind at ease.

Barbara is a very warm, caring and fun childminder. She has a beautiful, safe home with great toys for the children. She would take them out every day to farms, zoo’s, parks and soft plays and kept me updated with all the fun they were having.

My son has made some really lovely friends and learnt so many new things being with Barbara which we are so thankful for. My son and I are really going to miss seeing her everyday, but fingers crossed she has spaces available next year for my son and new baby!! Xx

Peace of mind for parents, one in a million!

Barbara has been my childminder since my son was 9 months old. He is now 4½ and an animated, confident and talkative little boy, starting Nursery full time in preparation for Primary School in September.

I like most mothers was apprehensive about going back to work and leaving my son after my maternity leave had finished. He was very much a mummy’s boy and hadn’t been left before but Barbara was brilliant! She smoothed the transition for me, sending me updates and photos throughout the day, giving me the reassurance that I needed. He settled well and quickly which I feel is a reflection on her.

Barbara is always out and about taking the children she cares for to all sorts of different places from the farm, aquarium, park, music/dance/play groups even the seaside to name just a few. I am so pleased my son has been given the opportunity to do so many things whilst away from me having the peace of mind he is safe and well cared for. He has always really looked forward to his days with Barbara and has enjoyed many summer afternoons helping her husband in their beautiful garden. He has had a wonderful start to childhood with Barbara and WE will miss her very much.

I couldn’t recommend Barbara highly enough, she is a lovely, kind, fun loving person who is full of energy and absolutely brilliant with all the children she looks after. Since my first week with Barbara I have had peace of mind that my son was well cared for, and all his needs were met and this has continued over the years. Barbara has always worked extremely hard to accommodate mine and my husband’s working schedules and has always been flexible when needed.

Thank you Barbara for all you have done you really are one in a million.

Kind, caring and professional childminder

I first met Barbara in May 2016 and felt immediately comfortable in her home. Clean and welcoming with lovely toys for the children, a large garden for summer days and a nice environment.

I was anxious about going back to work and Barbara made me feel at total ease, my son settled quickly with Barbara and made lovely friends with the other children.

Barbara would always text me back as soon as she could if i wanted to check how my son was which made me feel comfortable and had piece of mind throughout the day.

Barbara is a kind lady and very nurturing, my son built a lovely relationship with her and I honestly made the best decision asking Barbara to childmind my son.

Barbara would take the children out to the farm/park/play groups/zoo/beach and always keep me posted on what was organised and if i was ok with it first, my son had some great days out and lovely memories made.

Barbara is reliable and trust worthy, organised and flexible when I needed.
