About Me
My name is Vicki and I am a registered Ofsted childminder, I have 2 children of my own and live in West Ewell with my husband.
We have 2 friendly cats.
The children enjoy going to hobble down, soft play, art and craft, the park and National trust gardens.
We use our garden which has a wide variety of toys including a slide, trampoline, ride on toys, playhouse and large deck area for sand and water play.
My Experience
I have worked as a nanny for 13 years after doing my NNEB in 1996 and only stopped to have my own children! I then did the CHIP childminding course in July 2009 whilst pregnant with my 2nd child.
I have now been childminding since my daughter was 6 months old and we have a relaxed and happy home from home setting.
My children are now at High school and College.
I hold a current CRB and am paediatric first aid trained which is updated every 3 years.
I do regular training courses run by our local Authority and online to keep up to date on new changes.
My Qualifications
Cache NNEB (NVQ 3 equivalent)
Chip childminding course
Early years first aid
CRB
Safeguarding course.
My Availability
I work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 7:30 until 17:30 but can be flexible on times.
As of September 2025 I will no longer be doing school runs.

Vicki is just amazing! Our daughter started when she was 10 months old and settled in very quickly and loved every single day that she was there.
Our daughter was so loved there and did such a lovely range of activities and trips, and had a great routine with all the children. We felt like Vicki really nurtured our daughter and encouraged her development.
Vicki and her family were always flexible with days and times and so supportive of our family, which made such a difference, particularly during the pandemic. We also got informative updates and lovely photos about what our daughter had been doing.
We really can’t recommend Vicki (and her family) highly enough, we were so sad to leave them behind when we moved.

Vicki has looked after our daughter since she was 9 months old. As a first time mum I was very nervous about leaving my daughter with anyone especially with all of the covid restrictions (at the time) Vicki reassured me from the start but also didn’t put me under any pressure. Ava, our daughter thrives at Vicki’s; with her guidance and under her supervision but also with the freedom to be a little girl playing and learning with her friends which she has made by being at Vicki’s.
Vicki keeps us updated throughout the day with essential information and a lovely summary often with pictures at the end of the day. Ava’s speech and confidence has grown and developed immensely by being there, we can only thank Vicki for her fabulous skills not only as a childminder but also now as a family friend.

Vicki is fantastic. We have been with her for 3 years for my eldest and just a few months for my youngest but they are both so happy with her. My 3 year old runs in straight away every morning and the normally clingy baby is also really happy to go with her.
As a teacher, I’ve been really impressed with the development of both my children in their time with Vicki but the else still in particular has made huge leaps forward in speech and language, social skills and confidence from being there.
I asked my daughter what it’s like there and she said “I’m happy at there because I’m playing with my friends and going to Hobbledown!”
I have never had to worry about them while Vicki’s looking after them. Her communication with us about their day and photos of their adventures give me such confidence but more than that, when we’ve bumped into her out and about, and my daughter has run at her for a cuddle, I think that tells me more than anything else!
She also caters completely for my daughter’s dairy allergy which again has always been so reassuring.

Vicki has looked after our 2 children for nearly 5 years, since our oldest was 9months old. She has helped develop both our son and daughter and they have thrived under her care. She is patient and caring and has become part of our family.
