About Me
Hello I'm Maria McDonald an Ofsted Outstanding Registered Childminder and I provide a warm, happy, fun and safe environment for the children I care for.
I educate through the government's Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) through play and activities, am NVQ III qualified in Childcare and Development and have attended many training sessions and workshops including Makaton. Certificates are available to peruse.
I am inspected by Ofsted and on my last visit, some of their findings were:
- The childminder and her assistant have strong bonds with children. Children settle quickly when they first start because the childminder and her assistant make them feel welcome and comfortable.
-The childminder promotes confidence well, for example she praises children's good manners and reminds them to share and to play cooperatively. Children are well behaved.
- Children enjoy a good range of learning experiences that help them to progress well. They are happy and enjoy their time with the childminder.
-The childminder gets to know the children quickly and uses her knowledge of their interests and capabilities to provide stimulating activities.
- The childminder has good relationships with parents and other setting that children attend.
My setting is in Lower Feltham near BP, Sunbury, Ashford and a quick car/bus journey to Hatton Cross Tube, Feltham Train Station, Ashford Train Station and Upper Haliford at Sunbury.

I have over 23 years experience in Childcare from 7.30 - 6.00
My Qualifications
I have an NVQ III is Childcare and Development and have St John's Paediatric First Aid Certificate which is renewed every three years. I have completed many workshops and training courses including Makaton.
My Availability
At present I have a few vacancies for children from birth to 5 years full and part-time and before/afterschool places collecting from Feltham Hill Nursery, Infants and Oakhill Juniors. I can discuss hours of work as I am flexible.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
My fees are £8.00/8.50 per hour for Childminding different rates for Babysitting. I take vouchers of all types.
